Special contracts

Like those contracts a club gives you until the end of the season and you have to complete some sort of goal to earn a longer contract. For example, lets say Crawley Town are in last place in the Conference National and the chairman sacked the manager and offered you a contract until the end of the season with a promise of a new long-term contract if you can avoid relegation. I'm pretty sure those were not in FM 2008, but they where in FM 2006. I would like to see those again, it sort of gives you some sort of initiative to do well for the club.

Sort of like Kanu had to play so many many games for Portsmouth to get a contract extension?

what the kind of you are given the job of caretaker manager but if you help the team stay up you permently get the job ?

yeahi like it too, remember it being in previous games, not sure if its in this one though, if it is i havent come across it... not bad to be able to offer it to certain players as well, especially the older ones...

Yeah Kanu's contract was that if he played 20 league matches it would trigger the extra year onto his deal with Pompey. Not a bad thing for players who are getting up there in age but can still produce.

Not personally come across it in 08, but I thought I read somewhere that it was still in?
