ftg87 Posted August 17, 2008 Share Posted August 17, 2008 Before the season starts, you will get a message in your inbox asking you to confirm your squad numbers for the season, there is an option in the bottom right of this to view and change all of them, also whenever you sign a new player you will have the option to give them a number Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

outlaw640 Posted August 17, 2008 Share Posted August 17, 2008 I believe you can only change them at the start of the season when you are asked to submit them. e.g. a new signing in january couldn't take a shirt number of an existing player unless you have transferred him out. like a new goalkeeper couldn't take the no.1 shirt off the incumbent keeper Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

That's how it works in real life. Though that's an obvious statement because of course shirt numbers aren't chosen by a computer in real life! Or are they? For example C.Ronaldo goes to Real, so it is decision time. You give him 7 and give him a warm welcome and disappoint the fans favourite Raul, or show Ronaldo no special treatment and give him something else like Becks did with 23 back in his time.
