Nicolai87
Hello! SI, could you please, please sort out the German leagues so that the second teams work like they do in Spain with for example Barcelona 'B' etc? In Football Manager 2012, the second teams in Germany works just like reserves do in England, while this is far from the case in real life. The second teams in Germany play in the league system and have their own complete staff and different training schedules. They even sign their own players. In FM 2012 it's like the reserves in England where you have direct control over all the players in training and sharing of coaches. The result is that you have 50-odd players under your control with only so many coaches to handle them all. Just please make it how the Spanish 'B' teams work to reflect reality. Overmars
I was surprised to read this because I play in FM11, and the German reserve teams are incorporated the correct way. Did they change it for FM12? If so, that's a step in the wrong direction, although it sure does make it easier to get your reserves some match time. Guest
German reserve teams are a mess in FM12, AI controlled clubs do not use them at all & after a few seasons the relegation spots in 3.Liga are always taken up by 3 of the same 6/7 U-23 sides who swap places every year. The Amazing Dale Watkins
Yeah, they have been implemented shoddily in every single FM. I wouldn't hold my breath that this will change because they have been aware of this forever and never change it. It's probably more complicated than just making them act like Spanish teams, but I agree it would be an improvement.
Koki
Noo, not again. German II-teams don't work the same as Spanish B teams, otherwise SI would have made them work the same PS: SI could work on the way the AI uses their II-teams, though.
The Amazing Dale Watkins
As in the AI could start using them at all? After a few seasons they typically have about three players in them and fill up the remaining spots with players from the U19 come match day. I think that's a much larger discrepancy to real life than any actual differences between the Spanish and German B teams.
