J.T
My computer ran out of space yesterday and I think it was when I tried to save the game, it unexpectedly quit. I have made some space on my computer however when I try to play the game I am getting this error message: Anybody had this before and know how to fix it? J.T
There are other error messages which all seem to be saying that .xml files are missing.
Kriss
Verify game cache in Steam and it should replace any missing files.
FrazT
Try deleting the Settings folder to resolve xml issues- instructions in the FAQ thread.
J.T
The FAQ gives doesn't give instructions for a MAC user. (which I am). Could you possibly give me some instructions for MAC if you know what to do?
J.T
Sorry, ignore that, I was being blind and didn't scroll down far enough to the MAC support section.....
SCIAG
I don't know if Crash Dumps are made on the Mac version, but if they are then you might want to upload that to the ftp.
J.T
I'm pretty sure the problem is sorted from the instructions above. Will let you know if it happens again.
FrazT
Deleting the settings folder should resolve the xml issues- there is a chance though that you save could have been lost if it hadnt saved properly- always have a back up available.
