countytillidie2012
Is it better to create individual training schedules for different positions for e.g Operation Gen - General players Operation GK - Goalkeepers Operation Def - Defenders Operation Mid - Midfielders Operation Att - Attackers or is it better to put them all in the same training or would that confuse them? kingjericho
As I started in the BSS I used the default schedules. The interesting point is, now I'm in League One and I'm still using the default schedules and my players have developed really well. So maybe the default schedules aren't as ineffective as they might appear.
afced7
or is it better to put them all in the same training How could that possibly be better. Your strikers generally don't need to get better at marking, and your defenders don't need to get better at finishing. Ideally, you want individual training schedules for every PLAYER, but that's too much hassle for most people, myself included.
dibbers
sometimes, if i can be bothered i will put them all on individual training schedules for each player!
Nocuous
I will generally use positional based training, but for players I think need a particular focus, and still have plenty of potential to fulfill, I will make an individual schedule for them. Once a player is near their peak (or over the age of 23), a specialised training schedule isn't going to do much for them anyway.
Macho M.
Easy way - leave it as it is. The default training schedules are not too bad. Advanced way - make/download positional schedules. Expert way - make individual schedules for each player depending on their game positions/roles/attributes. Gamer way - as above, except that you also include your expectations (lets say so that in the end you'd have ~15 acc and pace), also hidden attributes as PA, determination, ambition, etc. It's all about picking what you prefer. Obviously, the more advanced the method, the longer it takes to apply it. The original idea about one pot isn't good at all tho - the game even gives you premade position schedules which are easy to assign. Why not do it then?
