kccircle
Just wondered if the players at a National team would be more likely to play for my club team if I was their manager at both International and club levels? Anyone have any experience of this previously?

Redbyrd
But it can be worthwhile if you can buy and develop your nation's good young regens.
HakanMild
It could make a positive difference. Many times if you give a player their first cap or they score their first goal under your reign you get a message of them thanking you, at that point you appear under their favorite personel. Or if they do well under you, have been managed by you for a long time or win things you might also appear on their favorite list. At that point they will take it into consideration when moving clubs, while considering your contract offer your friendship will sway them to consider your club more. Of course if you are a small club and they are a big name player they might not want to come anyway but it does help.
Nobby_McDonald
It could also go the other way. If you don't do a good job managing the national team, or annoy one of the players, then they would be less likely to sign.
