Arsenal - 512k per year general sponsorship?

Is this right or a bug?

Didn't they quite famously get something like 10 years sponsorship up front during the stadium building?

Too much or too little? Not a bug though either way you look at it.

I can't imagine arsenal would ever take a 512k per yr sponsorship. It's laughable.

The general sponsorship though could be anything though.

For instance, at Old Trafford Audi have their name on top of the seats in the dugout, and that isn't going to be costing them millions is it!

The evaluation of the price depends on what a sponsor gets for his money.

Every good club has various sponsorship agreements running in the 500k range. Obviously, it would be laughable if that was one of the main sponsorship agreements, but it being ranked 6-10, I have no issues.

The stadium sponsorship (and the shirt deal that went along with it) were hugely front loaded. So out of that 100 mil or so, we probably received 80-90 mil up front, with 10-20 mil over 10 years. It's actually one of our biggest financial issues right now, and when those deals expire we'll be in an even better financial position.

Also, Arsenal would happily take 500k a year from a sponsor. If Stella offered 500k a year and to match the lowest other supplier's prices to be our on tap beer at the Emirates, why would we say no? If someone wanted to sponsor the team bus, 500k a year might be reasonable.
