rlowe49001
Im not sure if its done yet as i cant find it, but is there a way you can send some of your transfer budget on cutting the debt down or talking to the board about it? If not, would it be something your interested in puttin in the fm's in the near future games?
Nottingham Forest
You can't. If you get into a good financial position, occasionally the board may reduce your debts. You'll get a news item of when it has happened. It isn't a feature I'd like to see in FM as in real life, I don't think managers would have a say on this sort of thing. rlowe49001
But it could do a big understanding with the board as communication is key it maybe benificial as you could be on a big debt and using the sales to decrease before you can buy again, it could help the club in the long run...helps the players and may bring the attendences back up in later seasons? Nottingham Forest
It's nothing to do with the manager though. Chairman have hidden attributes which will determine whether they will look to reduce the the debts of a club. Communication with the board is key. However, I don't think Sir Alex would say to the Glazers that he wants his budgets reducing.
Kenco
The board have made the decision on how much they are prepared to allocate to transfers to help the club. If you feel you have been given too much, simply don't spend it. You are not obliged to spend it all. In my game, second season and Liverpool have just given me a budget of £39m. I've spent £21m on 2 players and decided that's enough for now because I'm concerned the finances will plummet. If by January things have changed for the better, maybe I will spend the remainder. mije1983
Also your transfer budget isn't a seperate amount of money kept somewhere else. It still comes out of your bank balance.
