sean_macleod
Im managing West Ham and have noticed Keane has signed for them for 6million on the game, which he hasn't so i dunno how this is happened i started a new game on the 3rd patch. Sorry if this has been covered. :o
Nottingham Forest
West Ham had agreed a fee with Spurs of £6m that is already programmed into the game when you start a new game. So if West Ham wanted to keep him after the first season, they could sign him for £6m . They obviously did.
sean_macleod
But it wasnt after the first season it was the first game of my new season on patch 3, i just created the new game and he had was signed for 6mill.
Nottingham Forest
It's already coded in as a future transfer. Obviously they would have signed him had they not got relegated.
sean_macleod
No they wouldnt have, what gives you that conclusion the guy was awful anyone would have seen he wouldnt have signed, how can it be coded in as a future transfer it was a option to buy during the loan, it was not set in stone it was an option like most transfers. Nottingham Forest
Wrong, it would have been completed for £6m had they stayed up. As they didn't it didn't go through. Here is an article explaining it . Should West Ham get relegated in the first season, I don't know what would happen.

Nottingham Forest
It doesn't particularly matter now as it won't be in FM12. Should you really want to change it, do it in the editor and start a new game .

stevie_G_32201
He is now playing for L.A Galaxy but west ham would have signed him if they avoided relegation surely.

wackettdagenham
i follow West Ham and after the way he performed in the 9 games he played i would be gutted if we spent 6mill on him. That's why LA Galaxy only paid £3.5M for him
Ein
I guess it was incorrectly coded as a loan with a future transfer instead of a loan with an option to buy. You need to open the editor and make it this way.
