Cougar2010 Posted April 26, 2011 Share Posted April 26, 2011 Depends what country you are in but if its the MLS then only a portion counts towards the wage budget, not sure about other countries or even if any others have DPs (Australia? maybe) Aside from that there shouldn't be an issue with selling them - again if its the MLS the league will take a cut (33%?) of the fee and you'll get a bigger allocation fund. looknohands Posted April 27, 2011 Share Posted April 27, 2011 Be sure to check your boardroom/wages screen, and see if you can edit your wage budget (take it away from transfer funds and apply it towards wages.) You can also ask your board to make a higher % of transfer funds available. In terms of selling them: as Toronto FC I've sold De Guzman every game for double his value ($2.6 = $5.2 million) to Blackburn, and one time I sold Semir Stillic after AZ met his $10 million asking price less than a year after I paid $1.3 million for him.
