Pre patch I was trying to get rid of Petrovic like real life but I was into a game and the board wouldn't pay his compo. The first patch I started a new game and was told by the board that any staff you didn't want would leave on a mutual. All did except Petrovic as again the board would pay the compo. Then this week my hard drive dies so upon new hard drive and new patch I reload and start again. Yet again the board won't pay the compo at the start of the season so it looks like I am stuck with the fella till his contract expires in 2014. I assumed all staff you didn't want you could let go at the start? I have tried to offer a new contract but shorter or offering him a role as a coach, all the usual tips but no luck. The bizarre thing is Wally Downes has been added as a database change via the patch to the West Ham staff as real life and yet Petrivic who has gone IRL remains. Raises eyes to the heavens!! Petros7 Posted December 18, 2010 Share Posted December 18, 2010 If Petrovic has gone IRL and SI forgot to update the database, what is stopping you from using the Editor? Wouldn't that be the best solution at the moment (until the next database update comes along), which will also save your board from spending money for releasing the guy anyway?
