IbrahimAliMaher
Do people stick exclusively to the tutoring suggestions given by your backroom staff or do you try and match up players yourself? In the last FM I played there was no assistance on this but I got reasonably good at figuring out who would work well together and who wouldn't. How successful are people finding the staff's suggestions versus your own picks?
Sheva Elite
I very rarely if ever bother with tutoring now. I'd rather loan the player out
IbrahimAliMaher
Also, can anyone explain why I can tutor 21 year old Luke Boden with 24 year old Giles Coke, and yet I can't tutor 20 year old Mark Beevers with Darren Purse? The only explanation I can see is that Boden's squad status is 'hot prospect' but Beevers is 'important first team player'
deadfncat
tutoring is wierd. I bought a 36 year old keeper to tutor my 20 year old first team keeper who had lots of potential, but he could only tutor the U18 squad
underwater sunlight
the issues with tutoring have been acknowledged by SI and there should be a bit of fine tuning for the patch, but as for the OP's question, i look for good players who i want to be tutored, note their mental characteristics (players report page) and look for quality senior players whose characteristics match
