Team selection

Sorry if this has been mentioned, I did a search but didnt find anything.

Right, why was it decided to mess with the way you select you team? I have always used the right click method to assign positions but the way it assigns has changed from previous versions. Instead of it going wing to wing then centre, wing to wing then centre (rb, lb, cb, cb, rm, lm, cm, cm) it goes from right centre left (rb, cb, cb, lb, rm, cm, cm, lm).

It is very annoying, indeed.

Had a left-back as a central defender quite a few times because of this.

Just comes across as a stupidly unnecessary change.

Yeah, but it's only a habit thing to break.

I used to get weird players in odd positions in previous versions.

Then I discovered my mouse had hiccups (or something) and did weird stuff.

There are so many that need fixing in the next patch but I would like this reverting is all.

Yeah, as others have said, it's annoying at first, but just a matter of changing habit in all honesty. Tbf, this way probably makes more sense.

...but who likes changing habits?
