psucolonel
Once I have downloaded FM 2011, is it safe to remove steam from my mac system? Will the game function normally?
Scab
If you bought the game from Steam you need it to play.
Matt ex SEGA
Yep, that's correct - you'll need it to run the game, although you can set it to run in offline mode if you don't want it to connect each time...

edgar555
Why is it such a mistake? I was a Steam hater after having a bad experience, but was convinced to give them another go. Whilst its only a week, so far so good and it is much improved from a few years ago when I had issues. Obviously, if they stitch me up again, we'll be having words but until then, my cap is doffed, they've certainly upped their game.
ChewyFun
damn...big mistake You should have asked the question before buying the game tbh
D3RBY4L!F3
I have used steam for the FM10 and now FM11 not one problem *touch wood* its a brilliant platform in my opinion, yes people do have problems I'll admit, but personally not me. But like chewyfun says you should have asked the question before buying, if you hate steam
