Manager friendship

I searched the forum but could not find a thread about this.

Has anyone become friends with a manager? All I can get is "feels the two of you can become friends".

Which is one area I'd like improving personally, they can like you as much as they can but, it's not reflected at all.

I'm friends with Alex McLeish, Carlo Ancelotti, Gianfranco Zola and Kayserispor manager Tolunay Kafkas on my one but I feel I deserve more

Also if you have a great relationship with a player, for example if he's the captain at your club season after season, you appear on his favoured personnel, but they don't appear on yours, a small detail but I think it would be a nice improvement. The same thing as having a club appear on your favourite club list if you have a long successful spell there.

no-one can appear on your favoured personnel because it doesn't affect the game in any way, they probably should but you can just search anyone who has you listed as their favourite personnel

i once bought a couple of players from some german club that markus babbel was managing. I was at liverpool. the news said that babel sold me the players because he liked me.

Usually by praising them a few times in the media you become one of their favoured personnel. Makes it easier to sign players from them so I always target managers from teams I want to nick players from.

I had a club recommended to me as an affiliate as a former player who liked me was their manager. I snapped the club up as a feeder and sent a bunch of players on loan. In his first season as manager he won the league. good lad.

I wouldnt want players to generally appear on my favoured personnel (unless it was a son) because It might put players on I dont particularly like that much, I'd only approve of my manager favoured personnell if I personally put them there .
