How Long do you Keep your Players?

So, on average, just how long do you keep a player before getting rid of him

It depends. If he's a great player i keep him until he retires. If he's just an average player i keep him 3-5 years. But if he impresses me, i keep him over 5 years. Most of the time, i keep my players over 5 years, so i voted for Over 5 years.

For however long he plays a role in my team.

Aslong as i need them, totally depends on them/what tactic i use.

I get attached to some of my players and start to hate others, so it depends. I voted 'over 5 years' though.

if they are not a superstar, icon or ledgend then i dump them when they fall off... if they are any of the other 3 I tend to keep them around till they retire.

Depends on the player and the roles he plays

i usually buy young and keep them will their 29 and sell them unless i have an attachment to them lol, so over 5 years.

Until they begin to decline, so I sell them and get the money. That's if they're a quality player.

Other players, such as backups, I'll sell once their whining gets on my nerves.
