I can understand fans losing you as a favoured personenel when you resign in a sense, although it takes the **** if you've been at a club for 10 years. No, in previous patches if you had reached legend status and left the club under any circumstances (resigned, retired, sacked, whatever) you'd be removed from the list of legends. I seem to recall reading that you instantly became VERY disliked by the club (-75 relationship with you or something?) just by leaving the club, which is the likely reason as to why you were removed from the list. This was a big issue for a lot of people I'm sure if SI fixed this they'd have told us and I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere.
