Vic Taylor
Have you added ".exe" (without the quotes) onto the end? If you have, and still get it, it may be a corrupted download. Delete it and try again.
kevhamster
If you have, and still get it, it may be a corrupted download. Delete it and try again. This is probably correct. I was getting exactly the same error when I downloaded the 10.2 patch via torrent. I redownloaded it via a direct link, and it worked fine.

kevhamster
As it was a torrent, you might not have had a torrent reader? I do have a torrent reader. I'm well aware of how torrents work, and I downloaded all of the patches for FM09 via torrent, without any issues. I think it was just bad luck on this occasion, but now I'm inclined to just use the direct downloads, especially as it seemed to download in about of a quarter of the time it took via torrent. Tidza_ram
I have the same problem. The file has an .exe on the end so that doesnt seem to be the problem. i have also tried both a Torrent & direct downloading. It extracts the file fine. I get the above message half way through clicking the "update" button. HELP!!!
