jdubsnz
In my second season with Arsenal, and thought it would be fun to axe most of my coaching staff and bring in ex players who are just starting out as coaches. I have some top coaches remaining. A few questions: 1. will their stats improve? 2. are there ways to accelerate their improvements? 3. are there any particular stats to look at in a coach that will determine how quickly they will improve? FYI - current coaches and level of ability: - Lilian Thuram 4* Defending - Martin Keown 4* Tactics - Emmanuel Petit 3.5* Set Pieces - Ray Parlour 3* Ball Control - Ugo Ehiogu 3* Defending - Dean Ashton 3* Attacking - Nigel Winterburn 3* Set Pieces - David Seaman 2* Goalkeeping - Zinedine Zidane 4* Shooting - Dietmar Hamann 3* Defending - Alan Stubbs 4* Defending

Ricardos79
1. They generally improve with age, apart from maybe fitness training 2. Only assign them to training areas which they have at least 10 ability at, ie. if your assistant manager has an attacking coaching ability of 15 and a defensive coaching ability of 4, don't have them assigned to defensive training. This way they can concentrate on the areas they are best at and should improve. 3. No idea. Do coaches have adaptability values?

Shaka Sangoma
They should get better, staff have CA and PA just like players, and thus can get better. They can therefore get worse though with age theoretically
John Smith
1. Will their stats improve? yes, depending on pa and mental attributes. 2. Are there ways to accelerate their improvements? none that i know of. 3. Are there any particular stats to look at in a coach that will determine how quickly they will improve? from my observation, professionalism, ambition and determination. Basically the same as for players. . .
