ElJaffacakeo
Once the game is started, do the champions league places change if a particular nations teams are doing better in the Champions League? What i mean is, if the English teams start failing in Europe, do they start to lose their automatic places in Europe like happens in real life? Alternatively, if Scottish teams do better, will they start getting more places?

ANDEHLSON
Yes they change. The coefficients are there for a reason. But its unlikely that England will do badly enough to fall from the top 3. (same for Spain..)
gw79
No, Leagues have a fixed reputation thus fixed CL spots. This is wrong. Euro spots are not based on league reputation, but are based on a ranking system taken from the clubs performances in Europe. So, if they do start to do to badly, Enlgish clubs may lose places in the CL or Europa League.
deltablue
They do, though it hasn't affected me directly the Ukrainian league (where I am now) was ranked 6th when I arrived, so 3 places in each competition (but only just), but has dropped not only to 2 CL places and 4 euro places but also another level to 2 and 3 respectively. Wannabe
I think you can find out what the coefficients are if you goto the World menu at top of screen, then select Europe, then select Awards, then Nations and Coefficients. There is probably a quicker way, but this should work.
HunkOfJunk
Oh my bad, I never seen it happen so I assumed it couldnt based on the best leagues (higher rep) get more spots for CL and as rep for leagues doesnt change so nor could the CL spots. Well they say asumptions are the mother of all .............
