Vic Taylor
What are the attributes that can only be increased through tutoring? Thanks in advance for all replies.
John Smith
All the hidden mental attributes + determination. Be warned that it follows that of the tutor, so if you have a low determination or low professionalism tutor, your tutee will follow suit.
phnompenhandy
^WHS. The only visible one is Determination. You must ensure the tutor is higher than the tutee. After that follow the assman's report and hints re. personalities. I like how in FM10 the assman specifically recommends who to tutor whom - I follow his advice. Oh yeah, probably should have mentioned I'm playing 09 right this minute, so I have to go without recommendations and stuff.

private pyle
Does the tutor need to have higher influence rating than the pupil or just determination?
John Smith
The tutor must have a better personality than the pupil. Don't think influence comes into effect here.
Thebaker
i think that influence and determination need to be higher for the tutoring to work well, they often fall out otherwise. I never take my ass mans advice, they are always poor choices. tutoring also doesn't seem to raise mental attributes as much as in previous fm's even when the tutoring is successful
John Smith
Influence does not come into factor. Had successful mentoring with tutors of low influence. Just like irl Ronaldinho could tutor Messi.
