Willy Wonka
As the title suggests, my team are conceding an awful lot of goals from corners. My 'keeper has decent stats, and both my centre backs are big and strong, good headers of the ball, yet I am conceding a majority of goals through corners. Any help? Might well be my tactics, if so how can I sort this?
spankie
Try having a player who is good in the air mark the near post and have your full backs man mark instead of being on the post as they should have decent marking attributes. Always have 1 or more players close down the corner.
PGB_SPURS_FM09
It is frustrating as on every FM i've always found it rare for me to score from a corner yet do concede quite a few... dking
I use - -Def corner setting: 2 wingbacks:mark small 2 centre def:mark tall midfielder+1 striker:man mark 2 winger:stand on near+far post 1 strikers:close down corner Cant claim this as my own but i started experimenting with it and i rarley conceed corners. I changed 2 strikers closing down corners to 1 striker and tweaked a couple of other things to suit my team. Got this from vitoco77. Let me know how you get on with it as it has worked wonders for me.
