LGR
Looked through all the technical issues and mine isn't in there so wondering if any of you special people know the answer to my problem. Not had a dose of FM in way too long, so when i go to open it up, i get: ERROR: unable to find some essential data. please ensure that the game is installed correctly. if the problem persists, please contact technical support. Hmm, so i go to uninstall it, with the intention of re-installing it after, and i get: ERROR: launch anywhere properties file is missing So what the feck is happening and how the feck do i sort it out ????????? Thankyouplease.

Neji
I think you just need to right click your FM shortcut and click on properties. Then click the compatability tab and untick the box next to 'Run this program in compatability mode for:' If that doesn't work, try clearing out your cache folder. To do that take a look at this post.

DivineOne
Try installing it without uninstalling it. (run setup.exe on the cdrom).
