Wixy_geez
Do the players know that some matches are played over 2 legs? Do they know when a match is the 2nd leg. Do they know that they need to win by a certain margin if they are behind from the 1st leg? Seems to me that they know they need to win but don't try and score the goals that are needed. For example I was 4-1 down in the league cup, I won the 2nd leg 2-1 but my players stopped playing when we were winning the game but not the match! bluebirds4life
I agree, luckily this happened against me twice when managing Ajax, I played against Marseille, who didn't really try, and Bordeaux, then the same happened to me as we had a great chance of beating Sampdoria! KevinThomson'1
Heavily Agree, really gets to me when this happens, specially the Champions League when your in the 2nd legs
HarryMills
I also hate it when the board in your monthly confidence update say that despite the positives they are very unhappy with a second leg defeat of a tie you won. Is it really likely that when you've reached the final of the champions league 4-1 over two legs the board would decide to get their knickers in a twist over a 1-0 second leg defeat in which you've rested players close to a suspension? daft, hope its better in '
FrazT
There is an issue in the game about how it/media/board and players interprets two leg games and SI are aware of it.
