Fusion 123
I recently bought 'Football Manager 2009'. But i'm unable to play it, due to my CD-ROM not even regirstiring that there is a disk inside. I'm just curious as to how what is wrong with it and how i could make it play ? By the way i have Football Manager 2008 installed, whick works fine. Thanks for everyone's help. ahmufcwafc
Does your computer have a DVD drive? If it's just a CD drive, which it most likely is, then the disk can't be read. A way of getting around this is by downloading the game from steam and using the keycode on the back of your manual to activate.

Administrators Neil Brock Posted July 1, 2009 Administrators Share Posted July 1, 2009 Yeah if you only have a CD drive then you cannot run the game. You need to download it via Steam and then activate it with the code on the back of your manual: You can download the game in Steam without using the disc using the game code you have from your purchased game. Download Steam from here - http://store.steampowered.com/about/ Install Steam on your computer Once installed, open up Steam Go to My Games Go to Activate a product on Steam Enter your Activation Code found on the back of the manual. (Use http://keylookup.fm2009.softanchorinsight.com/ to see you got all the 0's and o's right) Steam should now download your game. Let me know how you get on. Thanks. Stevicus
if your computer is old enough to have nothing but a CD Drive, then chances are you wont be able to run the game anyway, good luck though:thup:
