Funkball Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 I'm playing Football Manager 2008 (need a new pc for 09 ) and have started a new game again. Problem is that I would quite like to bring Anthony Vanden Borre to Rangers but he is co-owned by Genoa and Fiorentina and there is no option to bid for him, i looked at an unofficial forum that said something about offering half the fee to one club and half the fee to the other but i cant even do that with no option to make an offer. slipknot67 Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 The club that paid for a 50% share in him probably have first option on him to buy out the other 50%...If I were you I'd keep him on my shortlist and wait for a news item about him being bought outright by one or the other of the two clubs sharing him, then you should be able to table a bid for him.
