Aswell as 7 star rated coahes that are happy with £250 pay a week! m-platt Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 Which patch are you using? I know that coaching has been adapted slightly for v9.0.3 so there are not many 7* coaches anymore. As for the players, it depends on your success and how well you are at developing them. m-platt Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 Strange then as I was under the impression about the coaches that you had to have determination, discipline, motivation and then the technical stats all in the same coach for them to be 7*? Cougar2010 Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 His coach will only be 4* fairly close to 5* for ball control, defence, attack, shooting & set pieces. I am most likely wrong, but generally if you cover all areas with coaches having great strengths then surely locigally the coaching staff must be 7* or at least 6*! m-platt Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 I am pretty sure that the star rating is based on the best coach in that area and is not a combination of several coaches. For example; if your coach would probably be 4/5* like Cougar2010 said because his determination, discipline and motivation are low. Therefore, this would mean that the star rating would not be increased by having a coach with high mental stats on the same area of training Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
Cougar2010 Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 I'm not sure how multiple coaches work in terms of stars but usually they reduce the workload of each "session" I would guess the stars would average out over the coaches taking the session (eg a 5*, 6* & 7* coach would give a 6* session) As I play in the lower leagues in FM I tend to not have many coaches and they coach 2-3 sessions each with no session having more than 1 coach. To be fair I've seen better regens, including my striker who I got for a mere £17m, I think you got ripped off at £50m I havent come across any 7* players, most is always 5 despite having a PA of 191. Cougar2010 Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 Just to keep the thread on track though: I'm playing as San Marino and this kid was one of my first at the end of my first season: He made his international debut at 16 and was a fixture in my 1st team at 17.
