jod123
Go to C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\football manager 2009. Is there an fm.exe file in there?
bjoggi33
already tried that but then theres comes another problem that says .. Cant find all components , this application has failed to start because saAuditMd.dlll was not found
jod123
Try this: You are receiving the error: ‘This application has failed to start because saAuditMD.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem’Fix: Please download the file from here and place in the following folder: C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009 http://downloads.sigames.com/download/saAuditMD.zip Put it in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\football manager 2009 instead of where it says above though. CaptainPlanet
Try this:Put it in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\football manager 2009 instead of where it says above though. I think you actually put it in the non-steam folder even if you installed through steam.
jod123
But that directory won't exist though will it? I am not sure. You can try both bjoggi.
CaptainPlanet
Yeah, even if you install through steam you get a folder and some files installed to C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009 It confused me at first too
bjoggi33
Well i putted in in both C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009 and C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\football manager 2009 but neither worked

jod123
You tried launching it via the fm.exe directly rather than through steam since adding in the saAuditMD file?
bjoggi33
yeah i tried both launching with Steam and with fm.exe

jod123
Ok, have you tried a reinstall of the game?
bjoggi33
No but i will do that and just wait for the 9.0.3 patch do you think i should install via Steam or Uniloc?
jod123
Either should work but since you have trouble now and have used steam, I would give uniloc a go.

bjoggi33
Hey Guys did you select Advanded or Express i chose Advansded and id like to now the diffrence
jod123
Express means the default settings will be chosen. Advanced means you can choose the settings. So you only go with advanced if you want to change things like where the game is going to be installed, if you don't want a desktop shortcut and things like that.
