Select U23 and U18 teams, but not manage them?

Hi folks

Was just wondering if it was possible to force certain line ups to be used for the youth teams, without managing each match?

My assistant plays players out of position and doesn't always use the players I hope he will. I'm concerned about their development if this continues.

Usually before every u23/18s game I'm asked about available first team members. You might have the team selection advice turned off?

You can then drag and drop players already selected around to put them in a more appropriate position and click on the arrow next to their name to select an alternative player not selected.

Yep, you can pick the starting 11 as described but you wont have control of the substitutions unless you actually manage the game.

The day before any reserve or youth team game, I visit their respective tactics page and select the team and thereafter the manager will run the game.
