What a dreadful month.  In every league match, we rotated heavily, contributing to our terrible form.  We have the FAI Cup final and the last three group matches remaining in November with no League matches.

Sean Bohan, our goalkeeper, again had a wonderful season.

Our fullbacks, Andy Lyons and Neill Buckley also had great seasons - contributing 13 assists apiece!

My central midfield pair provided the attacking support from the deeper central areas to great effect, contributing 15 goals and 36 assists together.  Levingston is being tracked by multiple English Championship clubs, as well.

Anthony O'Rourke was the shooting star of the side, registering 14 goals and 14 assists and constantly being watched by Mick McCarthy, the Senior National Team manager.

Jack Larkin, our star striker, led the team in goals with 33 goals across all competitions, including 19 in the league.

Finally, the standout academy prospect, Ross Heffernan, continues his development as he saw lots of time in the latter part of the league schedule.

New Signings!

Kyle Millar - A Northern Irish Fullback that will provide some bite going forward, he's got good pace and agility, plus, he is a great decision-maker!  He has spent his entire career in the Irish leagues, coming through from Cork City and eventually appearing 106 times for his boyhood club.

Sylvester Jasper - An English attacker joins us from League One side, Chesterfield for $70K.  He appeared 71 times over the past couple of seasons and definitely can improve.  He will be rotated in on both wings.

Not our best month, but no losses.  Larkin is struggling this season and the team in general are finding it harder to put the ball in the back of the net.

Sheffield United, who just finished 7th in the Championship, have offered me an interview and I've decided to attend.  If they offer me the role, it will be my last job(I will not change) and my aim will be to create a powerhouse while developing youth from the countries laid out early.

I've stolen this spreadsheet from others around the forums as well.

I'm working on scouting Nolan(he just came through) and have fully scouted McDonagh and O'Brien.

We're starting to create some separation at the top and we sit 13 points clear!

We've had Ryan Corrigan lined up on a Bosman since January and he has now signed with us, upon completion of his contract!  Corrigan is a left fullback that comes to us from Salford City, of League One.

Overall, an okay month.  We lost one of our Premier League matches and now our schedule is loaded at the back end.

A very busy month, but successful, highlighted by a 0-0 away draw to Feyenoord!  We finished the season rotating heavily in preparation for the FAI Cup - great decision as we won that!

Europa League - After getting bounced in the Champion's League Playoff Round, we were moved down into the Europa League Group Stage, where we have, thus far, acquitted ourselves quite well!

We've drawn Midtjylland 2-2(away) and Feyenoord 0-0(away) and have lost to Monaco at home.  We're  in with a shout of qualifying!  Also, remember that the third-placed team in the group will qualify for the EURO Cup II First Knockout Round, as well.

Europa League Group A

We've only gone and drawn Monaco away!  AND Midtjylland and Feyenoord have drawn!  It's all to play for.... Also, I misspoke, we apparently drew Midtjylland AT HOME.... we still play them away.

Again, the man between the sticks and the best goalkeeper in the Irish Prem, Mr. Sean Bohan!

Next season, I'll begin to include Gavin Doherty a bit more.  He is a bit more well-rounded and has loads of potential for the level.

b2d5afebfb4c8f7fc65539c9df2e9d14.png

The central defender positions were a bit of a hodgepodge.  The best player is oft-suspended Northern Irish International Andrew McDonald.

My preferred partner for him is Ben King, On-loan from Hearts.

879bbb99835c486c34a54ed883a629b9.png

We also saw a lot of Ciaran Kelly,

57c60adfb066c78cac04063aa3d253d7.png

On the left side of my back line, my preferred choice was Ryan Corrigan, but he was injured quite a bit and was slow to adapt to the team.... but he did get going eventually.

24bd8238b19fb862551268dae85d9bf3.png

On the right side, Kyle Millar overtook stalwart Andy Lyons(who also saw plenty of time due to injury and rotation).  I predict that Millar will make his Northern Ireland Senior debut next year, as he was called in a number of times but never saw any minutes.

03f7f7fba1abee4468abf582439c34ca.png

The center midfielders were truly the engine room of the squad.  First off, league player of the year, Conor Levingston.  The 27 year-old notched 9 goals, and assisted on 19.  He also made his 200th club appearance in our Europa League loss to Midtjylland.

cdd3f148ff3d7b0774009314ec344e3b.png

The jewel of our academy, Ross Heffernan, from the first intake during my tenure, had a great debut season, scoring 9 goals.  Heffernan was also recognized as the Young Irish Premier Division Player of the Year runner-up and the Irish Premier Division Player of the Year third place.

040d5af27f0e503b49422863dd64cab3.png

Starlet Anthony O'Rourke had a bit of a slower year than last year but was still very good, scoring 8 goals and assisting on 16.  He still has yet to make his Senior National Team debut but I expect him to do so next season.

94b6807f5ff35473e11488935aca6560.png

Finally, Jack Larkin.  He had another solid year but was slowed by injury this season.  His strike rate of 77 goals over 131 appearances is still very good and I expect him to earn a couple of caps before the end of his career.

A very interesting QPR job became available.  They've fallen on hard times and are in League One - I've applied and been interviewed - who knows what I'll do...

Southampton have approached about being the manager.

But, if I were to leave for England, I'd want more of a project.

What kind of project do you have in mind? Sounds like you want to bring a medium sized 'fallen' club back up to the top. Would a club like Sunderland or Bolton fit that, if they are still down the league levels?

That's a question I ask myself quite often....:D  I mean, Bohemians aren't really much of a challenge in some regards but now the challenging aspect of my current role is developing the youth players and feeding them into the national team and then obviously competing for Europe.

In terms of moving to England, it would certainly be just what you describe, either a fallen club(QPR in League One, real-life Sunderland, etc.) or a newly-promoted side in League Two and bringing them to the top.  I'm not really interested in directly walking into an established Premier League club - not in this save, anyway!
