NoNonsenseFM
Welcome to my new save! I have decided to take on one of the older but rarely played challenges on FM "The British and Irish Steel Challenge" The premise of this save is to win every trophy available in Scotland, Ireland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland, a tough one! There are 38 trophies available all in and here they are: England (12) Premiership Championship League 1 League 2 National League National North National South FA Cup Carabao Cup Checkatrade Trophy Community Shield FA Trophy Scotland (7) Premiership Championship League 1 League 2 Scottish Cup Scottish League Cup Scottish Challenge Cup Ireland (7) Premier Division First Division - PROMOTION 2019 Senior Challenge Cup League Cup Munster Cup Leinster Senior Cup - WON 2019 Presidents Cup N Ireland (9) Danske Bank Premiership Bluefin Sport Championship Bluefin Sport Premier Intermediate League Northern Irish Cup League Cup County Antrim Shield Steel and Sons Cup Intermediate Cup Mid Ulster Cup Wales (3) Premier League Welsh Cup Nathaniel MG Cup Some rules for you: Start unemployed No badges and Sunday League Reputation Promotions count as a trophy win, if I didn't add this it would take forever as the majority of the leagues have more than 1 team that go up! (some do this, some don't)
NoNonsenseFM
Trophies Completed 2/38 2019 - Irish Leinster Senior Cup Winner (Longford Town) 2019 - Irish First Division Promotion (Longford Town)
NoNonsenseFM
I decided to sim 3 months to make sure there were some different jobs available and it took until December 2018 to get a job that took my fancy A really good first job. Longford have just ended 4th in the Irish First Division, losing in the playoffs. They immediately sacked their manager and have given me the opportunity! So we're predicted to end 6th in the league which for a manager with no badges or reputation is a great start. Let's take a look at the playing squad The first team squad is packed with players, most look decent for this level Some good players also in the youth team Here are the 4 players I think are key to our push up the league As for updates on this save, I like the minimal approach like I've seen on other peoples threads. You will see month by month updates of results and table and also updates for transfers and youth intake and an end of season review each year Wish me luck! NoNonsenseFM
2019 Season - Transfers In A few players were required, mainly on the RW and in Defence 1 GK, 1 CB, 1 LB and 2 RWs signed, squad now perfect for my 442 formation

vikeologist
Good luck with this. I'll be following, as I'm doing this (as posted in CSE) but I'm doing it under different rules. Do you have (favourite) clubs you hope to manage along the way, or are you going to be all business?

Thanks! I saw your updates in the Challenge section but didn't add it in there as I'm using the promotion as a trophy ticked off. I am a Liverpool fan (don't shoot me) so may look at managing them. Other than that I like to look at clubs that have fallen away, but like to keep my options open
NoNonsenseFM
June 2019 Only 2 league games and both really poor performances The final game of the month was the Leinster Senior Cup final against Premier Division Dundalk and what a final it was! On loan forward Dillon scoring all 5, and I tick off the first trophy in the challenge!
NoNonsenseFM
July 2019 With only 8 games left it looks like the title is out of our reach but teams between 2nd and 4th qualify for a promotion playoff so all hope isn't lost
