15.17.0b Not enough disk space

Hi,

when i try to load a game it says "there is not enough free space on drive C:..." but i could load a game seconds before the update. When I try to exit EHM it says "get_number_of_human_stuff() : the staff table doesn´t exist"

What´s wrong?

Can I undo 15.17.0b? Want to play right now

I can´t start a new game as well. Got 20GB of free space on drive C:.

me too, was running latest tbl roster. 2nd time an update has killed me. its a good thing EHM is like heroin to me or else id have to get a hobby.

It is happening to me with a saved game but also with the a new game with the default database. I get to the second page (where you select the game start date, and whether to retain players and staff.

would a save game help troubleshoot this bug? i assumed not since it happens when you create a new game as well. but here is what i got from the event viewer. after attempting to laod a savegame and failing it crashes when you try to exit; here is the crash data;

What system are you guys running the game on ?

windows 7 64 bit.

I had to wipe ehm from the face of the earth by uninstalling, then deleting all the leftover folders in appdata and the steam directory and my documents. seems to load the default db now. jsut gotta load faces and crap again...

I am on Windows 7 and 64 bit as well. The new version has the same problem. I tried clearing the temporary .cfg files as you suggested in another thread but the same problem.

Same problem here + it crashes every time I quit the game...

I noticed the EHM install was directly on C: Instead of in C: program...Steam. Don't know whether yours like that too?

I am still getting the same problem with update 1.0.2, I tried wiping it all off of the computer (local files from Steam, all the files in AppData and the files in the Sports Interactive file in My Documents).

It sounds like something very specific to the system you are running the game on. I'll try and look if there is a way to make the diskspace checks optional for such systems.

I have the same problem. I see in the Preferences section that you can choose User Data Folder. In my case that is a network folder. Could that be the problem? I'm unable to choose another drive to store the User Data.

I guess I'm just lucky. It works fine on my one laptop, but not my other. Not sure why.

The latest version has an option in the preferences to turn off the diskspace checks in case you are running the game on a system where this causes issues.
