ThomasCro
http://i.imgur.com/xG4wFV5.png This is the tactic I am using, and I thought I understood some basics of football. I guess I was wrong, I can't actually do anything good with it. Can anyone point out some OBVIOUS errors I have made?
kazm
Because of the DMRC The right winger is isolated. Change to support imo. Also change the lback to attacking. Besides that I would never played with all those added instructions but that may be personal preference. I think stick to position clashes with be more expressive: less freedom vs more freedom. Same with higher tempo and retain posession.
ThomasCro
There are no sliders this year so that is why i used the instructions. For high tempo, wide play, push up etc.
kazm
Did you use sliders a lot in FM13? A control tactic already is an attacking, possession based, higher pushed up and wider formation. Unless you know what you are doing you shouldn't use so much added instructions, better to keep it simple. ( same with sliders in fm13)
xinsomniacboix
Play much Higher line with Terry in the team seems like a recipe for disaster. Stick to positions combined wtih be more expressive and allow wide players to swap also seems strange
peleJunior
Like all FM formations that have two IF and an AM it is doomed to be very very hard to hurt the opposition, either forsake the AM and play a 1-2 midfield or keep the AM and play atleast one winger in the wide AM positions. After all this then it comes down to intelligence of moving he opposition around.
