Luka from Zagreb
So, im interested how many assignments should i give to a scout? I usually give him a region (lets say south america) and a competition (like champions league).. in fm13 there are by default "new talent" and known talent. should i leave them in and would it be ok if i added more assignents to him? now i have 16 scouts.. my goal is to have 1 scout per region... FootballManagerBlog
I'd say it's always good to give your scouts as much as possible scouting assignments, because you'll end up with a wide range of scouted countries, thus more potential players for your first team. isignedupfornorealreason
I find scouting knowledge rises quicker if I let the Chief Scout assign everything. I used to do regional scouting myself. It didn't really compare to the Chief's methods.
Taz & The Devil
Interesting question. I've always just aimed to get enough scouts so i can have 1 per region. In one game i have 25 scouts. 1 per region, 2 on new talent and 3 on world. This only has my world knowledge at 71%. Granted clicking into things shows i have more or less zero knowledge on Greece and Macau so i suppose i could change a couple of scouts from world to those countries. Still i'm interested in any ideas that work better than how i currently do things.
