King leaves Alfreton Town Insurance League, who are 10 divisions below the Stags, Chairman John Radford said: "Jamie is very enthusiastic about the job that lies ahead. Grimsby Town v Mansfield Town Steve Foster opened the scorline on 62 minutes then Michael Potts doubled the lead on 72 minutes, Grimsby got a goal back on 82 minutes with Michael Coulson. Mansfield Town v York City York City shot first and scored on 21 minutes with Cameron Park Mansfield then hit back on 24 Minutes with Suker scoring a fantastic goal, then again on 30 minutes with Sebastien Heitzmann to make the score 2-1. After Half-Time Sebastien Heitzmann scored again to finish the game of on 78 minutes with a 3-1 victory. Sebastien Heitzmann Incredible season for the forward, getting interest from a few League One clubs, he's still got a few years left, especially in League Two. Malam Bako Amazing season for the young center back, still young getting interest from many higher clubs, i dont think i'll manage to keep him as a bigger club will come in for him, he's scored hell of alot of goal from corners for a center back. You'll be surprised how long you can hang on to players though, one of my defenders is very similar to yours, and I've had him for 5 years now, even though people have always been interested in picking him up! Although Mansfield are top of the league they've had a tough month which included 2 losses 1 win and 3 draws with Tranmere right behind them if they want to be named champions they cant afford to drop any points, Mansfield are still 7 points clear of 3rd place Northampton which is the automatic promotion space, a good month is what Jamie King needs in March. Jamie Mansfield Posted April 29, 2011 Author Share Posted April 29, 2011 Mansfield Town Secure Play-Off Spot Mansfield Town have guarenteed themselves a play-off spot in the Coca-coca League Two spot, they currently lie 1st in the league with 7 games left and 13 points clear of 3rd place, We had the oppurtunity to talk to a Stags fan leaving the ground "Im delighted we've secure a play-off spot, just a few more wins and we've finished either 1st or 2nd. Jamie King has done a incredible job here he's putting himself in the history of Mansfield Town football club, the only thing that worries my is his contracts up at the end of the season and after two straight promotions then im sure bigger clubs will go in for him, will he stay with us? Most of the players contracts have almost ran out literally 7 player who wont renew contracts. "Im very dissapointed we didnt manage to win the league after a fantastic season, the players have been a credit to the club. A bio of each new staff team is listed below. Mansfield have said in an official press statement that they will only be aquiring 1 staff for each role as they're looking to spend on wages next season. King told media that Zola wouldnt renew his contract and believed he was too big for the club, after comments like that Jamie King wasnt planning on trying to keep him at the club. Jamie King told BBC Sport "Im enjoying life in League One, every single game is like a cup final for us we're relishing every single moment, who knows how long it will last?"
