It looks like we all have to finish Editing the new update on our own. Can anybody note down the biggest missing pieces, in the biggest leagues, they left out? Transfers, future transfers, confirmed (or more or less), manager changes, etc.
a Reserves league for Wales please....

this got me thinking about the Advertising Standards Agency ( i'm a UK player) and their crackdown on gambling in football. In theory could their reach be extended to FM? I'm not a legal expert in any way but since SI is a UK Company are they under their pervue for the advertising arrangements?

maybe look at season ticket holders?

yeah, in that thread i linked the k2 attendances so maybe use them as a base?

this is the attendances in my current save. incheon n gangwon got relegated but if you want more accurate numbers, just holiday koreas 1st season n compare to transfermarkt numbers.

have you updated the k2 attendance figures to be correct? or do Anayang still get an unrealistic 5k fan average?

Cardiff Met Uni are a prime example of this being so silly...yet so much fun!

Only DB's i used were wales to tier 6 ( just to see bangor city implode) and the SI Gibraltar DB.
Cesc was released from Monaco 2nd season, no-one wanted him...so around haloween i went "MINE!" n for 6 months he was insane until he retired.

That's impressive! To get to Europe as an amateur.
They must be hard coded because they are a Uni team maybe
They are coded to be Always Amateur, as are Swansea Uni and HKFC.
most hated club in my run with them: Ferencvárosi TC ( 4 times in 11 years i drew them)
Surprise win: Beating Lausanne-Sport 8-1 on aggregate in the ECL 1KO Round
Surprise loss: 23/24 season CL 2QR, 1st leg beat Qarabag 5-2 at home...lost 11-2 away

Cardiff Metropolitan University are an amateur team in the JD Cymru Premier League. All players on amateur contracts but with access to a good training & youth facilities and an OK academy set-up. Anyone managed them and had success? Can you sell amateur players for a fee, can you even become a semi or professional club? Looks a great set up for developing talent but not if you can't sell them for £££'s.
Right, 10+ seasons with them...i've gotten to the europa league group stages twice ( 1st time i finished 3rd in group n lost to villareal in the ECL 2ko round), dragged them up to 2* rep but not being able to upgrade youth facilities kinda sucked...
@MackBristol i've signed cesc fabregas 2nd season ( he retired), had zach awe, Diamond Edwards has been with me god knows how long, its hard to keep the quality you bring in but its sooo worth it!
@Colorado theres also HKFC in Hong Kong that are always Amateur

I will point out something that most may have missed. SI are likely focusing on adding Womens Football for ( likely guessing) FM24. To them it is an important feature and honestly, it will be the biggest feature for many years. They have put a lot of stuff on the backburner to focus on it so I kinda expected this FM to be...lacking.
Licences n music...not really fussed about it. Will skim through if I qualify that far. ( i like tinpot leagues)
Dynamic Manager Timeline...something I will skim through every season.
Supporter Confidence: i'm slightly interested by it? but thats about all.
Recruitment 'Revamp': This does nothing for the club i play with every year because i can't keep 80% players for multiple seasons ( Cardiff Met Uni) but it just seems like a UI update for scouting assignments n thats all.
Honestly this feels like they putting all their eggs in 1 future basket. I wanna see less UI and superficial changes and more focus on FIXING things that the community point out to them that have been left for far too long. When the community makes fixes and updates to things better than you...it's kinda time to get them involved in the process of making the game.

Just an update - we're still working on getting the DB working. The promotion/relegation logic is a bit more awkward than we expected. Organizing regional playoffs between leagues which don't immediately break after the first season is kinda tricky. FMs logic for team sorting still isn't great, so trying to set things up so leagues don't end up with low amounts of teams is crucial. Plus, it turned out my data was slightly wrong so had to go back and tweak a few things. Aiming for a Level 6 release soon though.
Could you not use the portugal 4th div setup for promotion as a base and modify it? I know in fm17 there was a scottish DB that only 1 club went to the scottish league 2 through a playoff system. like winners of the 2 divs played off then faced bottom of l2 to promote.
hope my ideas help

I would also like to say this occours with the Indian Arrows team. I've signed a new Assman and coach but they dont show up in training.

@Koetzer in fm21 you actually can sign your youth intake...just not anyone else who has come through the club academy. In fm20 you could sign nobody

An odd suggestion. Your chairman has gone mad, he is flippant and you have to keep him happy. Every season and when you join the club he gives you a minimum of 5 Club Visions, all of them desired ( 5/5 bars) by your chairman. They can be ANY and EVERYTHING. To keep your job you have to complete 3 ( maybe 4) of them. He could also give you funds or take them away at any time. Obv Club Visions will randomise every season :P
Is it mad? yes. Is it different? yes.

Is it a case of a bottleneck issue thats been slowly building over the years? like they added more leagues n they have been struggling to handle it with all the changes they have yet to fix / input? when the community does a better job than the developers with data n you want people to keep buying FM, Shouldn't you be on top of eliminating that bottleneck?
I think its fair to say that we wanna be told if stuff is broken / incomplete and how you intend to fix it. Silent treatment doesn't go over well nor does leading us on a wild goose chase with overpromising and under delivering. Yes FM25 is important but when you push 24 as a 'best of the best' ( cant remember the exact phrasing) kinda deal and you come out with this? then something is wrong there.
