Of all the content creators who visited SI last weekend only 7 of them have had regular bowel movements since which means a few are still digesting their experience (and one needs to see a Doctor about an impacted colon but I am not crass enough to name names). Reckon, given the Steam data, we've got at least 5 more days to go. Laxatives not withstanding.

Oh noooo.
As it is I believe there will be no BETA this year, the real BETA will be the journey we had along the way and the game will just release on the 1st of November with no bells, no whistles and a 45 minute Youtube video explaining why this has happened which people will complain about and ask for tl;dw text version that some people will complain was tl;dr.
It will be a glorious day in the anals of FM history.

Lower down they don't have to be part of youth leagues and can still exist.

Morale issue perhaps. A tactic can be technically solid but if your dynamics are shank then it will be affected.

Big fan of the Regista/SV combo and have been using it for years. It works really well in FM22 after having a drop off for a few years but I tend to use it in a possession based tactic rather than this type. Interesting to see it working.
One other point I will make is that I am currently engaged in trying to get a Catenaccio style working and my possession numbers and passes are a lot higher than I thought they would be but I'm putting that down to ME quirks.

Also it annoys me that I can only say positive things in press conferences by smiling or stretching out my arms. Had a manager beef my team and I wanted to say something positive about my team but I wanted to do it emphatically by banging the table or wagging ma finger but I am not allowed to.

Agreed. However, I'm not sure it's fair to class this as someone with a platform just mouthing off for clicks (not that I am saying you are tbf but that can be a reading of this post) when he's clearly just gone and highlighted an issue in the game. There is a slight irony as well in peeps bemoaning the clickbait title of Zealand's vid when Miles' initial tweet on DYP was clickbait personified.

Yeah but he is the studio director and the studio director said it would be huge. That carries weight, unsurprisingly. Honestly, I don't think there's anything conspiratorial in it, I just think it was oversold in marketing hype and if you're gonna do that you're gonna have to suffer the blowback especially if and when it became clear that expectation was not going to meet reality. I would also say there was plenty of time for a reversal or a dampening of expectations once it became clear that the community expectations were nowhere what the module would be. Not only did that not happen but community speculation was allowed to spin out with a 'this is huge' endorsement from the studio director. Ultimately they ****ed around with the pre-game advertising and now they're finding out and I am not unhappy that it is happening in a way that is a lot more visible than a thread that could just be easily ignored in the community forums.

The thread on here has been good and the response from SI on this thread has been productive but I think the key point of the video (which is one of the reasons this thread exists in the first place) is that the feature was very much front and centre and overplayed for what it actually turned out to be. Do I believe the feature (as it is) works as intended? Absolutely? Do I think it's a big deal in the grand scheme of FM22 and the other issues? Not really. But then I didn't play the feature up massively as something the community have been asking for and will get in my pre-release advertising. Zealand quotes Miles quite clearly and like it or not the buzz created from that announcement was allowed to just run... that's a fair thing to point out and a fair thing to suggest that we might have been slightly cynically played. The FM response on Zealand's video doesn't really disabuse me of this notion.
