  5. Is there any info about when this will become available? Right now the option isn't there (as shown in the picture below) and the game doesn't start if my 22MB sized file is inside the editor data folder (almost 1 hour loading, never being able to complete the task.), but as soon as I move that file away from editor data, the game works as intended. So will the option the Pre-Game Editor claim to exist appear in the near future? Or should we wait for anything else? I hope for an update soon, as I wanna test my file to know where it needs to be fixed. Cheers and let's all enjoy FM19!

Well, long story short: I wanted more panels, rows and information porn on my games, and there are almost no skin I like in my resolution (1366x768) so I edited a skin with no knowledge about skinning to get what I wanted. And I managed to do it! It doesn't look that different to the original, but it now has the little details I wanted. Basically, I changed things by trial and error, touching here and there until (almost) everything looked good. What doesn't look good are basically two things I captured in this screen: http://i.imgur.com/TU0d02E.png Since I'm zoomed out at 75%, "long" numbers show like what you see inside the red circles. The same happens with Last 5 games at the Squad screen. Since I couldn't "move" the limit on those panels, the solution I found was to locate the font used for attributes numbers and replace it with a "thin" font. And hooray, I was semibold, I changed the font for it and the numbers were shown how I wanted, except that the header (or blue circle thing) also took the changes and it looks so narrow now that it barely serves its purpose. So, header.xml should tell me how to define the text only for header and maybe use the same thing for ... but I do not have a skin to modify from by trial and error or the knowledge to do so. Or do the same just for the attributes numbers, or numbers at all since the Last 5 Games isn't solved by this and I do not want to reduce the font size, it's at the minimum possible size I can read (especially for match widgets) and I literally spent hours playing with font sizes to get there by watching the same goal and reading the same news over and over again. So I'd need some help from the experts to get the piece that would let me edit "just" those couple of things. I don't care too much about Last 5 games tbh, but I do care about the other two things as they're kinda essential. TL;DR: Noob needs how to specify a font to use just for attribute numbers, or any number if possible, and another one to use just for the header.

Except that AFC allowed North Korean teams to participate this year since the only thing AFC cared about was how they dealt with transfers (or some **** like that, it was just a technical issue and not anything political). In fact, Rimyongsu came as runner up of the last AFC President's Cup this year and April 25 will take part of the AFC Cup on 2015, unless they decline their spot of course. The only nations yet to send clubs into international competitions are Afghanistan, Brunei, Guam, Laos, Macau, Northern Mariana and East Timor. Most of them just need to send and application though.

I guess thread necromancy is banned as in most sites, but... question comes from this old topic I have at my bookmarks as the main topic =P Thing is, in the past I was frustrated after making many new leagues and rules just for the game to get errors here and there because of clashing IDs and such, so I took a big hiatus from editing, didn't touch it since FM12 tbh, but I love to add that personal feeling to my games and since a new FM will come in some months, well... I was thinking on making some edits on FM13 in anticipation Idea is to create a master file, creating most unavaiable competitions, maybe some clubs, and some modifications especially regarding to Nations, like updating some national team, captains, and so. You know, minor stuff but tedious and time consuming x_x! Then, once everything is set and done, I'd just load database, create the nation rules and done, hoping no ID issues will happen. Did someone already test if this helps to avoid ID clashing? Or should I test it myself and check? How many nation files should I run together to be sure it really works? Should I drink coffee or hot chocolate while doing it? 8D Well, that for now ^^U

  12. I have Ghana as the current world champions on my save (I'm at 2017, FM11 game), but on an older FM (07 I think?) I saw Turkey lifting the trophy and then failing to qualify for the next world cup. Also that save got Georgia as European Champions, somewhere on the 2020s. BTW, Ghana final group at CAF qualifiers is them along Tunisia, Angola and Zambia, with Tunisia having a hell of a newgen striker

  14. It's not French, it's "French" =P Hard to explain, but look for Etoile FC (Singapore) on the Wikipedia and you'll get the info. S.League tends to put "foreigners" team on their league with special rules for themselves, tough AFC won't let them qualify (in real life) to any of their competitions.

Yes, these ones where used when the file was run (and I did recommend it at the readme), and may be the reason why North Korea did so well at President's, since it was the only active league from the bottom 16 (but anyways, I expect them to dominate since the toughest oppositions seems to be Palestine, Pakistan, Banghladesh or Cambodia, or at least most tests gave that impression) The only problem concerning leagues were that leagues not ending before AFC competitions starts seems to send teams based on whatever but last season standings =( it even happens to nations that were included in the game, like India, but I didn't get to work it around. It's my first attempt at doing a continental file, so I'm sure there's some room of improvement I couldn't see.
  16. Hi out there, and sorry beforehand if my English is a bit rusty. If you played Asian leagues, you noticed how their Champions Leagues doesn't include every country, and how they divide them into "mature", "developing" and "emerging" nations to qualify them to their differents competitions. Well, that is kinda boring if you went to manage, say, a Malaysian club since there's no opportunity to face a real powerhouse, so I got to the editor and changed the rules, if Sanmarinense teams has the chance to dream of facing an Italian one at UEFA Champions, or a Seychelles outfit to face an Egyptian one at CAF, why wouldn't a Macau side dream of facing a Chinese team? =P So every champion will qualify to the Champions League, either at preliminary stage or group stage depending on their ranking (at the readme), with top 4 nations qualifying three sides, top 5-to-14 nations qualifying two and everyone else only one. To AFC Cup qualifies every National Cup champions with nations 5, 6 and 15-to-30 qualyfing two. Why that oddity? So only Top-6 nations would send 4 clubs to any continental competition while others would send 3! So to complete that rule, nations 31-to-46 on the ranking (46 -East Timor- is the lowest ranked nation) qualify to the President's Cup. Format for both Champions League and AFC Cup are similar, two qualifying rounds from which 16 teams would join another 16 who made it directly to the Group Stage. Then, 8 groups of 4 sides each, with the best 2 teams qualifying to the next round, letting the double-legged knockouts begin to end on a single final at a neutral venue. President's Cup retains their (intended) format of 4 groups of 4, but it's now played in a home and away basis, with the best 2 best teams from each group qualifying to the knockout stage, again double-legged and ending on a single final at a neutral venue. There's a readme inside with how was all done and the known issues I couldn't fix or replicate, they are mostly minor so don't worry, but if you happen to know how to fix them, just post here. Apart from that, the file was tested till the end of 2020 with no crashes and a database of 90k players! (yes, I know, but I was away from home for a day, so what the hell, let the PC work at it's fullest), so I hope it's enjoyable =) This file will include (screenshots if you follow the links): - a bit of dominance maybe? - But a wider variety of nations participating - Lucky draws making some countries reach the Group Stage! - And another doing Giant Killings better than Tatsumi's ones!!! (=P) - And of course, "middle-powered" nations are also capable of surprises by reaching phases they shouldn't be able to! (and that's a "French" team to AFC!) - Of course AFC Cup also has it's place, with no apparent dominance. - And rarely you will see flags repeated at most stages here! - Last, but not least, it's the President's Cup.   18. Ummm, I'm making a huge file in FM11, too many new clubs, comps, etc. on a country. Works fine alone but when I try to create a game with it plus another editor file (let's say MRT's Brazil for reference), it's impossible since they signal "not enough teams from [myfilecompetition]" as error... but if I deactivate my file, MRTs works fine. any idea on how to solve this "clash"? I'm using the regular editor, no advance panel involved at all. I still have loads of works to do on my file, so I wanna solve that as soon as possible... 72k changes with recent backups that has the same error (on every test the file alone works with no errors at all to 2023), but this... and I when I play with my file I plan to create a game with a pair of nations not included in the game (Japan and Costa Rica the two I most care, and also New Zealand because of my "at least 1 country from each continent" rule), so... PS: FM11 is bolded just in case. PS2: MRT's Brazil and FMF's Italy also clashes between themselves, for reference. EDIT: Sorry for asking something that was so asked before, but well, you know how lazy we are So I saw it's a common error. Sad Now, it's avoidable by merging files? or let's say, when I finish my file, how could I avoid these clashes? does "delete nation rule, save as another name, and add nations rules for B country" avoid ID clashes? or there's a cleaner way of doing that?

While using Nation Rules to add a Coppa Italia-styled Cup on another Nation, the game instead of giving byes to the best 8 "Serie A" teams from last season, gives that byes to the worst 8 "Serie A" from last season, which is kinda sad because those byes are the whole reason I like Coppa Italia for my leagues =X After downloading the Advanced Rules, I see there's an option (or so I think) to make this possible, but the question is, since I have everything done in Nation Rules (5 levels with many leagues and 6 cups) for that Nation and I only want to change the Main Domestic Cup, is it possible to only use the Advanced Rules for that one competition or do I have to restart everything from scratch in the Advance Panel in order to avoid some screw up? Hope I made myself clear, if not, cavemen language : Only want to use Advance Rules on one cup, rest of the file want on Nation Rule. Thanks in advance.
  21. Using FM11, already patched. Don't see anything here or by the results of forum search about squad numbers, and it's turning me mad And it's because the game doesn't care about what squad number the player is given on the editor I'm editing a certain country whose league/contracts starts on February, so I thought maybe the issue was there. Tried Contract Started 1.2.2010, 1.2.2009, nothing. Thought it was a bug to be corrected on the first patch. Patched, nothing. And I'm out of ideas, except using the favourite squad number slot, but I'd need to re-do so many players that I prefer to wait if there's an answer here to solve my problem, or if it's a bug, if it's gonna be corrected at second patch. Thanks in advance, and if this is not the right place, first I'm sorry and second I'd ask where should that be
  22. This one, for players mainly. I always wanted to do something like, create 20 or so of: Mister GK - CA 60 Sub GK - CA 40 etc. Paste it on new clubs and generate random name. Editing would be more accurate, since sometimes the generated players make a team stronger/weaker than intended And also, if you have a super-league structure with many clubs, this may balance the thing out pretty well. Also the "generate random kits" for the ones who doesn't have kits would be wonderful. I second most of the suggestions here, but those two attract me the most.
