Issue Comments posted by Domoboy23

  1. @Zachary Whyte currently typing to upload the file but it is over the 9.77mb limit (137mb).

Is there a workaround for this, or do I just need to compress?

EDIT: apologies, just read the sticky and have now uploaded to the cloud. Save name: notakeovertype - example - burnley - domoboy23.fm. The admin event should happen at some point in the next month on the save, however it's usually within 2 weeks.

Not a major issue. I'm guessing it's because it's a new administrator being announced and therefore isn't a takeover type and the takeover type field is either null or needs something entering.

Hello, could we please get a save file from before the takeover happens?

Hi Zach, this was just a 1 file rolling simulation save. So I don't think I can for this specific example.

However, I have seen this on ALL teams that have had a takeover following admin so I will recreate and upload the save file

Latest and most complete test yet. Will update the below as soon as the ''full' release occurs tomorrow and testing has been done to allow us to see if there have been any changes.

Please note for FM24 some teams had a conversion rate of up to 21% (so 1 in 5 of their shots goes in the back of the net) come the end of the season!

The team top of the championship for shot to goal conversion last season IRL wouldn't even be 17th in the table on my simulated save

For further context in 21/22 the top team (Fulham) had 10.7%. And Bournemouth in 20/21 has 10.3%.

For further context this is the stats from my current save 32 games in...

AVERAGE CONVERSION RATES ACROSS THE DIVISION

    IRL

    22/23: 8.2%

    21/22: 8.1%

    20/21: 7.6%

    3 YEAR ROLLING AVERAGE: 7.96%

    FM 24 SIMULATIONS

    SEASON 1: 14.37

    SEASON 2:  13.91

    SEASON 3: 15.01

    3 YEAR ROLLING AVERAGE: 14.43%

    (FM 23 SIMULATIONS

    SEASON 1: 9.33

    SEASON 2: 9.25

    SEASON 3: 9.58

    3 YEAR ROLLING AVERAGE: 9.38%)

THIS TEST HAS BEEN RUN ACROSS MULTIPLE NATIONS AND LEAGUES, ALL WITH EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH CONVERSION RATES. THIS IS A UNIVERSAL, NOT LEAGUE SPECIFIC ISSUE.

  5. IRL figures from last season for the Championship.

    image.thumb.png.67807baa720676e961b30fe3b873610b.png

    That's 337 clean sheets across a season.

I have run 3 different simulations on FM to compare this to RL figures.

A: 137 -- Team with the highest: 11 clean sheets. Across 46 games this is a 23% rate.

B: 111 -- Team with the highest: 13 clean sheets. Across 46 games this is a 23% rate.

C: 156 -- Team with the highest: 11 clean sheets. Across 46 games this is a 28% rate.

This means that a team on FM with the most amount of clean sheets... would be around 17/18th IRL.

I have also run this test in: Bundesliga, MLS, La Liga, Eredivise, Poland all divisions, Croatia all divisions with similar results.

The amount of goals scored is NOT LEAGUE SPECIFIC imo. It is an issue across all leagues. It is a conversion/goalkeeping/ME issue (will look to run a test to see average SPG to see if it is an ME behaviour issue, however, looking at the xG tables it is simply conversion/goalkeeping_

23 games into the season and every single side that was in the division last season, has hit at least 80% of total goals scored IRL last season. It's mental.

Really struggling to understand the cause of there being too many goals. Is it goalkeepers simply not being good enough? Shot physics being off? Teams getting too many high xG chances? Is it a moral issue after conceding/scoring? Too many goals from corners?

The issue seems amplified when trying to play defensive, rather than playing offensively. Which shouldn't be the case. Is this a result of defensive formations and low line/low blocks not working? Is it a result of teams just getting far too many shots  peppered away when setting up this way when compared to real life? Or one of the above simply just making it not sustainable?

I think the ME plays fine. It's conversion rates being too high and Goalkeepers being absolutely awful.image.png.8cf82b586aa494208601d1470313d0a2.png

This amount of goals FOR, for each side in the top 6 after 32 games is obscene. It already matches and exceeds for 4 of them compared to last season IRL after 46 games. Even then, the other 2 are within 5, with fourteen games remaining,

Hoping this is sorted for full release.

Could we have a save file before the last game of the season, if possible?

    Hi @Kyle Brown

This is saved under ''domoboy23 bug report board supporter confidence'' on the cloud.

The save is from on the day of the board meeting, but pre meeting. Please let me know if you need any others.

    Thanks,
