  1. We can't call it Non-League to legend, right? Welcome to my attempt at "National League to Legend" where I'll be taking charge of my local side Torquay United with no coaching badges and a Sunday league reputation, the aim? To take myself to the top and win the Premier League and Champions League. This isn't a one a club save, this is a journeyman around the English league with a view to getting to the top as quick as possible. I will be starting, as mentioned previously as Torquay United in the National League South, from there the country is my oyster, I won't be applying for jobs but when interviews come in I can then decide if I want to move on, I want it to be as realistic as possible so I will judge every job offer on that basis. Welcome to Torquay! Interestingly we are predicted to end top of the league, something I didn't realise when I decided on this save, this could be tough. The board want a playoff spot this season with a view to getting promoted to the National League next season. The supporters however expect promotion this season. We have a decent sized ground for this level and decent facilities, promotion is a must, from there, if we can gain revenue I'll then look to improve the facilities. We need to somehow improve the finances, this really can only be done via player sales or a decent run in the FA Cup, projections shows a big loss over the next three seasons. The first team squad is quite small but we do have some half-decent players there. Aaron Jarvis - Striker Tom Lapsile - Central Midfield Lewis Collins - Winger We also have a raft of highly rated youngsters in the Under 18s. Now its time to assess all the players and get a tactic sorted, I'll be back at the start of the season
  2. 2023 - FC Gifu It's been pretty hit and miss since I joined. We had a good run in October but bar that it's not been good enough for a team expected to end near the top Next season we need to be challenging the top 2 The good news for my development is the board have agreed for me to do my first coaching badge. Player of the Season/Top Goal Scorer - Yuta Okumura Young Player of the Season - Yuki Wada Top Assists - Yosuke Kashiwagi Season Team Division Position Notes & Achievements -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2023 FC Gifu Japan J3 League 9th Took over 10/8/23 Challenge Progress Club 0/10 Domestic Leagues 0/10 Domestic Cups 0/5 Continental Championships 0/1 Club World Championship International 0/5 Continental Tournaments 0/1 World Tournament
  3. And I have my first job, in the 3rd tier of Japan with FC Gifu Currently 10th but predicted 4th so some improvement needed. I also have a war chest of £900k to spend (but we're over wage budget)
  4. Time to give this a crack again and not get sacked this time!
  5. Lets hope they actually fix it in the Jan update, I will be looking to start when the update comes out. My go and this challenge lasted 6 months before I was sacked!!!
  6. Thanks for your reply. What a mess!!! I'm going to give it a go then and see what happens! Think starting in South Africa may be the best way to go, get it out the way, although I know getting a job there with no badges/minimal rep is tough
  7. Such a shame about the bugs I've read about as I really want to start this save. Is it worth still giving it a go? What tips would you give to get around the squad registration bug? Or do I wait until the Winter update?
  8. My first adventure takes me to Andorra with C.E. Carroi Only formed in 2014 as a football academy, C.E. Carroi currently play in the top division in Andorra. Luckily this save starts with the vanilla database, in real life the club were relegated in the 21/22 season. It is going to be tough to keep them up as they are expected to end bottom of the table. Only 8 teams in the league, each teams plays each other 3 times before it splits into a champions group and a relegation group, there are then 6 more games. This is all I have in my squad, new recruits are needed. We have £6,000 of money to spend and £2,000 of wages to spend. I do love this little ground, a 236 all-seater stadium
  9. Long time lurker here. I've always loved following some of the crazier challenges, ones that are played in smaller, obscure nations and challenges that last many, many, many seasons, so here goes with my first ever thread on the forums. The aim is, with the help of a the "Around the Globe" Megapack by DaveTheEditor (https://www.fmscout.com/a-around-the-globe-fm22-leagues-megapack.html) is to win the league title in every single available nation but in order of the alphabet. I won't do the nations in alphabetical order, instead I'll load all nation beginning with A to start with and I cannot move to the B nations until I've won the league title with all those A nations. Make sense? Great I won't go through all the nations just now, instead I'll show you the nations that begin with A and they are..... Australia - Asia Algeria and Angola - Africa Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria and Azerbaijan - Europe Argentina - South America A few extra ones in there from the usual vanilla database. My plan is to start unemployed, with no coaching badges and Sunday league reputation. Hopefully you enjoy the ride. I will update monthly in-game, posts will be short and to the point but hopefully it will be good to read.
  10. Hi all. Long time lurker around these parts, I've eventually decided to create and account and give updating on here a go. Wish me luck Update: I got my first job literally 3 days after starting the save, my journey starts in South Africa
