  1. That makes sense, its because like i said, it feels like the ME likes to mess around with you sometimes, forcing you to change things up for a few games, which is good!! This is what makes FM fun and thats why i am trying to learn how to be more versatile tactically, thank you for the advices and happy new year Oh, its because i heard you saying in the video that these OIs work for both high and mid block, maybe i am wrong tho, but thank you for alerting me! Happy new year Daljit!
  2. I actually forgot to mention that i use @Rashidi's pressing trap Opposition Instructions, i dont know if they are also tweakable depending on the opposition, but they have been also working well: + Weak foot for all strikers But when it comes to the Out of Possession instructions like you mentioned, how do i decide whether i play a low block for example? Is that a good alternative when i face a team that leaves alot of space behind with attacking wing backs that i can exploit on a counter? Or should i take other things in consideration?
  3. Hello everyone! My first topic here. English is not my native language so i apologize if my writing isnt perfect. So i am managing Juventus Jaraguá (my hometown club), a brazilian 5th tier club, and i have been actually doing very well in my first season, considering i had to build an entire squad because i started the save with just 3 players!! I started tweaking the preset 4-2-3-1 Gegenpress and recruited players that were suited to this tactic: (i usually play this one for home games and for away, or against bigger teams, i switch to a more direct 4-3-3, with a MEZ instead of the SS) I decided to play a Mid Block instead because in my first few games my defenders were struggling with balls over the top, and it worked wonders! (feel free to criticize my tactic if you feel like something does not make sense, i am here to learn!) But, the thing is, i have been reading in this forum that especially in this recent Match Engine, that you will always get punished out of nowhere for sticking with the same game plan all season, so plug in play tactics are not welcome anymore (thank god). So how would you guys approach the game? 1) Stick with the same tactic, that has been working, and wait until something happens? 2) Tweak it before every match to exploit opposition's weaknesses? (If so, how do i do that effectively? Without messing with the team's tactical familiarity too much?) Feel free to ask me questions about my team/save! Happy new years everyone, thank you for reading
  4. It just really depends on the player you have for that position and what do you want from him, considering the great comments above about these roles.
  5. Looks like a great challenge!! Looking forward for this one. Do you mind me asking what database you used for Brazil @Cleon??? I couldnt find any good one at the moment
