  1. I'm working a Japan league file which requires to get teams from the same local region to attend the competition. It looks like the selection type "Get best local region team" is the most suitable one to use. But during my testing, I found sometimes it can get more teams while sometimes less ones. Test 1 with local region "Akita-ken" 18 records found in DB No other selection critiera except for the local region. 35 records returned. Test 2 with local region "Gunma-ken" 16 records found in the DB. Again no other selection critiera except for the local region. Only 8 records returned. If I specify the team type (no matter it is first team, B team, reserve team or U18 team), no record will return.

  3. Have you tried "Players based outside of nation"? Maybe it works better than the homegrounw rule.
  4. This is to provide some new experience different from the great one made by Robbles. I only create the league system without any change to players. I would recommend you to load it together with the player & staff DB created by Karin. It can be found in Robbles's thread. Thanks to them for their valuable works again. https://community.sigames.com/forums/topic/568542-fm23-jfa-jleague-pyramid-2022-november-release/ The following is what I have created so far. I have holiday for 50+ years without any crash. Some ccreenshots will be provided in the 2nd post for easier modification. Pyramid 2022 version Level 1: J1 League (18 clubs) 2 relegations + 1 relegation playoff to J2 Level 2: J2 League (22 clubs) 2 promotions + 4 promotion playoffs to J1, 2 relegations to J3 Level 3: J3 League (18 clubs) 2 promotions to J2, no relegation to JFL Level 4: Japan Football League (16 clubs) no relegation or promotion Note: In reallife the promotion & relegation in JFL is a bit complicated. It depends on whether the clubs finished in the top 2 places are qualified for the J3 license. If any club gets promoted to J3, the relegation place will be reduced accordingly. e.g. Next year two clubs will be promoted to J3 so that there is no relegation this year. That's why I don't want to add any promotion/relegation to JFL for the time being. Once the promotion/relegation for next season (2023) is decided, I will update it accordingly. 2023 version Level 1: J1 League (18 clubs) 1 relegations to J2 Level 2: J2 League (22 clubs) 3 promotions to J1 (2 direct + 4 promotion playoffs), 2 relegations to J3 Level 3: J3 League (20 clubs) 2 promotions to J2, relegation to JFL see note below Level 4: Japan Football League (16 clubs) promotion to J3 see note below 2024 Level 1: J1 League (20 clubs) 3 relegations to J2 Level 2: J2 League (20 clubs) 3 promotions to J1 (2 direct + 4 promotion playoffs), 3 relegations to J3 Level 3: J3 League (20 clubs) 3 promotions to J2 (2 direct + 4 promotion playoffs), relegation to JFL see note below Level 4: Japan Football League (16 clubs) promotion to J3 see note below. NEW Note: Regarding promotion/relegation between J3 and JFL, I assume all existing JFL clubs except the 4 company owned clubs (Honda FC, FC Maruyasu Okazaki, Honda Lock Soccer Club, Sony Sendai FC) are allowed to join J3. Scenario 1) Both 1st & 2nd clubs in JFL are allowed to join J3. The club finishes at 1st in JFL will automatically exchange with the club finishes last in J3. The club finishes at 2nd in JFL will play a home & away playoff with the club finishes at 19 in J3. Scenario 2) Only 1st club in JFL is allowed to join J3. It will automatically exchange with the club finishes last in J3. Scenario 3) Only 2nd club in JFL is allowed to join J3. It will play a home & away playoff with the club finishes last in J3. Cup The Emperor's Cup: J1, J2, J3 and JFL all 74 clubs FUJI Xerox Super Cup: Emperor's Cup winner with J1 champion (or runner-up if both teams are same) J.League YBC Levain Cup: League Cup 1) For year 2023 only, 18 J1 clubs + 2 J2 clubs (relegated from J1). Group stage + knockout stage. 2) From year 2024 onwards, expand to J1, J2, J3 60 clubs with knockout format (no more group stage). Youth League J.League Youth Championship: Youth League with all 58 clubs U18 teams (J1, J2 and J3) seperated in 11 groups, the top 1 from each group goes to knock out stage Prince Takamado Trophy JFA U-18 Football Premier League: Youth League with 24 teams (some are J league clubs and some are high school teams), seperated into two groups EAST & WEST with 12 teams each. Final will be played by the winner of each group. Prince Takamado Trophy JFA U-18 Football Prince League: next level to the premier league with 9 blocks formed by different local regions. Each blocks has relegation/promotion in place with its lower divisions (inactive) . Note: Due to complexity, I haven't implemented the relegation/promotion between premier league and prince league. Besides there is not enough teams in the 3rd level to support a dynamic relegation system. I don't want to make my DB too heavy at this moment. Reserve League Japanese Elite League: Previously known as Japanese Satellite League. It has been renewed since 2021. Now it has 20 reserve teams from J league clubs seperated into 4 groups. Financial factors 1) TV and Prize money has been updated from J1 down to J3, plus additonal compensations for clubs (top 3 in J1) qualified for ACL I have also adjusted the TV money to reflect the real situation when clubs relegated from higher level to lower level. 2) No prize money in JFL, all clubs will be awared 60K JPY for winning each match. 3) Max wage limit has been set to 4600K JPY p/a with maximum 27 exemptions which is to reflect the number of Pro A contract players allowed. Actually in real life, only 25 is allowed. For clubs qualified for ACL, additonal 2 players are allowed. Unfortunately editor doesn't allow me to set additional conditon for max wage so I take the larger number. SI shall make the editor more flexible instead of creating so many hard coded rules. 4) Sponsorship income is added for all J League clubs (J1, J2, J3). Figures are taken from the 2021 financial report shared by J League. Plan to do I'm currently working on The Emperor's Cup. After little struggle, I decided to create it from the bottom which is the prefectural final. So there will be 47 prefectural finals to decide their representers to join the Emperor's Cup tournament. Once it is done, I will be able to complete the last pieace for the Super Cup which features the winner of the Emperor's Cup and the J1 champion. After that, I will look into Takamado Cup. I created J.League Youth Championship first as I think it becomes more like a professional youth league for obvious reason. Although Takamado Cup has two levels (premier league & prince league), I will try make it as a youth cup. Teams finish top in the prince league will be qualified for the premier league in the next year. Similiarly, teams finish bottom in the premier league will be qualified for the prince league in the next year. The regional leagues is also on my list but it depends how much work it requires. The regional leagues is postponed. Instead I will try to improve my current D4 file further. Following are a few areas which I'm looking at. 1) revise the Emperor's Cup & Prince Takamado Trophy to make them close to real format 2) review the existing awards in all competition 3) try to replicate the route that a player starts from high school, university and then becomes pro (this will cover national high school tournament, Japan univesity championship and relevant university league) 4) review league and clubs reputation (especially for high school teams) Feedback This is on going project and any feedback is welcomed. Although Japanese is not my native language, I have been learning & using it for over 20 years. I was doing research mainly in Japanese and I hope I undrestand it correctly. If there is any incorrect information found with my DB, please let me know (preferable with the source). Change log 2022 version 1.0 Limit the league system to divison 4 for the time being. Add Emperor's Cup and Super Cup. 2.0 Add Takamodo Cup (premier league & prince league) and Japanese Elite League. For people who are using the real name fix from Sortitoutsi, you may use the attached inc file in which I have updated some competition names. 3.0 Fix the yellow card bans in the default discipline rules. Add sponsorship income for all J League clubs (J1, J2, J3). 2023 version 1.0 Updated promoted/relegated teams from J1 to JFL (last position updated for all teams). New format for J1, J2, J3 and YBC Levain Cup. 2.0 Fixed ACL qualfication issue. Fixed game start date issue. Updated 2022 league history for all playable clubs (J1, J2, J3, JFL). 3.0 Updated promotion/relegation between J3 and JFL. 4.0 Updated to DB version 23.3.0. Corrected Levain Cup 2023 format. Removed max wage limit. 5.0 Updated to DB version 23.4.0. Fixed the promotion/relegation between J3 and JFL. 5. Again I have encountered some trick issues making the 2nd division for Peru. There exists three divisions for which I have setup liga 1 & liga 2. Copa Perú is the 3rd division which remains as inactive Here is promotion/relegation which I want to achieve. 2022 (game start year) liga 1 (19 teams): 3 relegation to liga 2, 2 promotion from liga 2, 1 promotion from Copa Perú, total team no change liga 2 (13 teams): 2 promotion to liga 1, 1 relegation to Copa Perú, 3 relegation from liga 2, 1 promotion from Copa Perú, total team +1 2023 liga 1 (19 teams): 3 relegation to liga 2, 2 promotion from liga 2, total team -1 liga 2 (14 teams): 2 promotion to liga 1, 2 relegation to Copa Perú, 3 relegation from liga 2, 1 promotion from Copa Perú, total team no change 2024 liga 1 (18 teams): 3 relegation to liga 2, 3 promotion from liga 2, total team no change liga 2 (14 teams): 3 promotion to liga 1, 2 relegation to Copa Perú, 3 relegation from liga 2, 2 promotion from Copa Perú, total team no change The ultimate goal is to reach the balance in 2024, but I couldn't get one team promoted from Copa Perú in the first year. I have tried both methods shown as below but to no avail. The reason I know it does not work is because the editor is warning me that there is no rule of 18 teams set for liga 1. I have set the it to be valid only from the 3rd year. If it works, the number of team for liga 1 shall remain as 19 for the first two seasons.
  6. I can understand the idea to have those additional types is great. It's really sad if it cannot cope with stages within the current competition or sub-competition. No wonder the default Peru DB does not work properly.
  7. While I'm working on a Peru league file, I have noticed these tricky extra info types which look like created specifically for Peru. Has anyone been able to make use any of them? From my testing, it seems the only one is working is "Team must finish at a position X or above in league". For the rest, I have no idea how system determines if the team wins a stage, finish at top doesn't work. Even giving the champion status doesn't make the job done either.
  8. you need to apply the Japan club skin fix https://www.fmscout.com/a-fm23-mod-unlock-japan-club-overview.html
  9. I'm currently working on the peru league by changing the vanilla version from the game. After making some changes, I keeps getting the error saying my league has not finished in time for the season update. The league date range was set from Jan to Dec. But the actual fixture dates were within Feb to Nov. I have given 5 days of match days but still cannot past the test. Can anyone give me some advise how I can fix it? My DB is also attached if you would like to take a close look at it. Peru_by_Nicholas.fmf
  10. Can confirm the change was made specifically for clubs in UK? According to the FIFA rules, players between 16 -18 are still allowed to be transfered within EU or EEA.
  11. I think it happened since last few version from fm22 (v22.3 or v22.4). Since then the extend loan button is no longer working. Here is the email of the loan report. If I just click the extend button, it will send an email telling me the player has not attracted any inerest. Change the player loan status to available for loan and click the extend button again. Another fail email will come. These messages looks like I'm offering the player to other club which isn't the case. I have uploaded the game save "Nicholas Shen - Man City_v1.fm" for your investigation.
  12. No wonder I did not get what you mean. FME actually did fix that in version 1.1.0. BTW, does anyone know how to fix the news popup in the club overview panel? When click on the news link, it does not popup in the middle of the screen like that in the home screen.
  13. Sorry, I mean that screenshot was taken from the base skin which is different from your xml file. Here is the comparison. By loading your xml file (There is no other file in my competition folder), the player stats & team stats is empty. FM23 base skin
  14. Thanks for it. But it doesn't look like same as the fm23 base skin. Here is how it looks like in the game and I want to extend the player stats list to show 5 persons.
  15. In panels\client_object\client object browser.xml Add the transparency value into the background box. Lower number means more transparent.
  16. Does anyone know where I can get the base skin for competition overview panel.xml?
  17. Many thanks, bro. I managed to restore back the player portrait. For anyone who is interested. 1) To bring back the player portrait in the tactic panel. Copy below two missing files from last version. panels\tactics\tactics icon info panel overview match.xml panels\tactics\tactics icon info panel overview.xml 2) To bring back middle game processing bar Copy below missing file from last version. panels\game\game processing panel.xml
  18. Can anyone share the FM23 1.0.0 skin? In 1.1.0 skin, the player portrait in the tactic panle is gone. I want revert it back.
  19. FME did a great job to recreate the individual training panel to allow selecting multiple players for "Praise/Criticise" action. But sometimes it doesn't work because of the player status indicator refreshing the screen. I tried to remove it from the detailed view and it works perfectly now. BTW, does anyone know if we can apply the similar changes to the youth training panel?
  20. I tried to modify your file by changing the start year to 2022. Then start the game with England pre-season start date (27 Jun 2022). I can see all leagues & cups being simulated instead of waiting to start in 2023.
  21. Try modify the file panels\team\team squad.xml On line 82 look for row_height, can change it to same value "30" as fm22.
  22. Noticed a number of errors in the file uploaded on 1 Sep. 1) Lots of young players were set with a professional contact instead of youth contract. 2) The folowing players were created without a club. Mark Verkuijl (AFC Ajax) João Teixeira (FC Porto) Saviola Saffoe (AZ Alkmaar) Jack Andrew Fletcher (Manchester City) Jake Grante (Crystal Palace) Alberto José de Haro Gallego (Real Betis) Jordy Bawuah (PSV Eindhoven) Valdes Ngana (Juventus) 3) Duplicate player Aylan Benyahia-Tani was created while same player exists in the default DB with the name Aylan Benyahia-Tahi 4) Julio Enciso (ID: 2000131697) was wrongly updated to non club. From the historical changes, I guess it was suppoed to update the other Julio Enciso (ID: 79034187) to Brighton.
