Has anyone managed to get small forwards to get good ratings or is this another dreadful "quirk"? Am I doomed to seeing my smaller team get penalised because "headers won" is broken as well as the actual heading stats (which was meant to have been fixed in the latest update)?

Disappointing but not unexpected. Only the addition of women's football will make me consider buying FM24

So many bugs. Match ratings are a mess and should have been revamped years ago. They just don't work, which means the game doesn't work as it should. Headers won is by far the most important stat for player ratings - so small forwards get poor ratings. I'm seeing forwards with 15-20 goals with a 6.7 overall rating. There are far too many penalties given and they are given for reasons that are unclear. The animations are awful and my bug posts have been ignored so there's no point in posting them. Also players just don't move clubs. Big clubs seem to have largely the same players years into the game.

Am I wasting my time? I've got so many more penalties to post, but if it's going to be ignored then what's the point?

Season two completed. League performances were a bit hit and miss but we just kept winning. A second round exit to Napoli was a real low point. Going to use Martinelli up top next season as Jesus is really inconsistent. Last summer I bought in Rice, Guehi and Fati, with Rice the only out and out starter. I need a partner for him even though Xhaka is still performing. Fati is always injured. Jorginho, Vieira, Trossard and Tierney are all for sale. Might sell Tomiyasu and Nketiah too

Season One done, no transfers. Really disappointed in Trossard's contribution, unsure whether I'm going to sell or not. Holding, Tierney and Partey are definitely going. Turner probably too. Kiwior might go out on loan

yeah but it doesn't just do it for Europe, it randomly does it for league matches too

Has anyone else noticed this weird bug where the Emirates Stadium changes to the Arsenal Stadium only to change back again?

So many goals seem to come from defensive players dawdling on the ball and getting tackled. Is anyone else experiencing this? The animation for it is horrible too, not enjoyable to watch

a few more annoyances. Too many underhit passes from techinical players. Shots that are off target seem to always go over the bar, not wide.

So I've played some games on this update for the first time (and the game itself for the first time in about 3 months) It's an improvement, but not a big enough one to justify the wait for it. The ME just doesn't do it for me, animation issues like players standing still waiting to be tackled and the awful high ball animation when a shot is blocked gets boring and frustrating really quick Also the match ratings have been broken for years. So frustrating to see this ignored when it's such an important part of the game

With SI not making any changes after the full release, with the lacklustre update released in December and with the wait for this update, SI are putting a lot of pressure on themselves. This update has to be close to perfect.

Similar time frame for me. FM24 needs womens football for me to be interested

yeah I agree with this. 22 was a load of fun for me and I honestly haven't had any fun on 23 since the BETA. I can see how the ME has evolved, although it's a shame that other parts of the game have regressed. Last time I played this game was late December, which shows how little I enjoy it right now. Hopefully the next update makes this game more enjoyable, but I can only see myself buying FM24 if they add the women's game/actually add some features of value.

we need to stop only thinking that game breaking bugs matter. Bugs that affect enjoyment and make it feel like a "job" instead of a fun hobby are just as important
