[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 20 - 2042 That's a really nice intake. Finally I have a goalie who can replace my current one as Elliot Sommensjö is getting old. I think I'll switch them straight away, because Pafiakis is just slightly worse and he can catch up quickly. Also some decent sub for DR and two central mids + winger/striker. Next year it would be perfect to get some good DC We're feeling pretty confident right now, great start being in top3, then some sloppy games and we finish in a solid mid-table place missing playoffs just by 5 points. With the money left we upgraded training facilities again, but still can't get the youth facilities. I don't know if it's a reputation problem or just the board sucks. "Are you winning son?" David played his worst season so far, still has a starting spot but tier 3 is probably the best he could achieve. He left on a free transfer after contract expired

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 19 - 2041 Very nice intake, lots of 1,5*CA players and Johan Sundstrom definetely is going into rotation Another survival, I'm just happy we avoided playoffs, because you never know. Eddie Nelen just keeps on with brilliant performance, I just hope that others will become so efficient and consistent. Just around summer we got the clause buyout available for 3,2m. It was around 1/3 of his value but when going through IFK's transfer history there was only one huge sell for 15m to Liverpool, other than that they got 3-4m max so it was no brainer. Rather slim chance to get more if they sell him and that amount of money will help us immediately. So we got some crucial upgrades and most important, the board agreed to turn professional. "Are you winning son? only 15 starts in his new team so rather regressing. In his age he won't become much better, I wonder if there's a lot of missed potential or maybe that's the best he could be?

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 18 - 2040 Dennis Bengtsson can be useful for first team, but central midfield is already packed so I need to figure out how pack them all up. Also two DC's with a potential, I hope that they'll develop Fantastic start, but later on mostly losses which was expected. We ended at 10th place with 40 points so very solid outcome. We were also competitive in cups group stage which shows that there's some quality in our team. Eddie Nelen with another great scoring effort, he's now over 200 goals for club and still counting. One really bad news, Zeki Erol - my wonderkid was complaining whole season. He wanted to test his options at the end of contract, I convinced him to change his mind twice but he won't sign new contract until the squad gets a lot stronger and that is not going to happen now. I decided to sell him send an offer with locked 50% of next transfer clause + a friendly and IFK Goteborg agreed. After he moved to new club his value went even higher than I thought, nearly 10m. "Are you winning son?" David was still a started for Torns IF but he again wants to move to bigger club , demanded a transfer and eventualy left

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 17 - 2039 Yagiz Ak and Johny Almqvist will be promoted to first team and play occasionally With start like that I had the worst scenario in my head but some nice wins now and then and we climbed up to a playoff zone and eventually won against Qviding. We stay in 2nd tier for another year. Eddie Nelen yet again was our best performing player. Around 1 million prize for finishing place is making the finances healthy although board don't agree to turn professional as it will mean to high costs in their opinion. Atleast we found good use for that money and we're upgrading training facilities. I hope that reputation boost will unlock youth facilities also, I can't even ask for that now. David played another decent season in Torns IF, they again finished somewhere around lower mid-table

March 2036 What a run in FA Cup, very lucky draws as we dodged top clubs. A smooth win over Sunderland and then a thriller at Bristol, now semis vs Liverpool. Decent league outcome, ManU had a lot of trouble with their win and next game we had a goals festival against Chelsea We're getting tons of money, we sold out every game so it's about time to get some construction works at Sixways expanding to about 17k Prince Mountaro looks like a legit wonderkid as he was included in this years NXGN list at 6th place, keep going kid

Youth intake 2036 Only two players who seems like they could be in first team rotation some time in the future based on potential *. Ryan Gardner looks really well, he's fast with good technique, can be a decent winger, and of course professional personality. Llion Turner will have to work hard to earn his chance because our two goalies are untouchable at this moment

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 16 - 2038 Very nice that we got some depth in defence. Mikael Ahl is versatile all-around defender so plenty of playing time for him. Jonas Gustafsson also should be very handy Yes, yes, yes, finally, a promotion!! It was almost a lost case as we were down by 5 points after 28 games and we needed a miracle of Umea FC getting just one point max in those last two games and it happened. What a fantastic season. Just look at that scoring spree Eddie Nelen had, leagues top scorer with 38 goals (only in sepetmber 4 games - 13 goals). Hugo Holmgren quickly became a solid DR fixing a hole after David left. We were also great with finances, cups group stage (away game vs AIK) earned us enough to get training facilities upgrade and later we got IFK Goteborg in second round. We lost of course but ended up with almost 400k in bank account. I asked for another upgrade but trainign facilities were denied due to financial situation and youth facilites were not available "Are you winning son?" He wanted to play in better club than Reymersholms but there was not a lot interest and he chose Torns IF - a typical mid-table team from southern Division 1. He played a decent season, they finished 10th and I think he might regret his decision a little

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 15 - 2037 Top rating of only C, but the actual intake, OMG... that's what I call an elite talent, straight away best player in team, professional, oh man. Not much besides him but I'm really happy Fantastic fight until last match. We were unbeaten for first 11 games and at that moment the goal was clear, we're going for promotion. Then a crisis in june/july and it was really close between four teams for the rest of season. Just one better game and we would be celebrating but not this time. Also we advanced to a group stage in cup so a little money boost incoming at the beginning of next season "Son, I'm dissapointed" When it started to looking like he'll become a leader of this team he got too ambitious and didn't want to sign new contract. I was waiting the whole season if he could change his mind (it worked with Hampus Pettersson last year) but he decided to leave anyway. Even our new academy wonderboy was not enough to make the squad strong. Now we have a big hole on right defence, only Luca Brolund shows some quality, maybe one of our wingers will be forced to retrain his position.

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 14 - 2036 Rather weak intake, I can see some minutes for Haris Sehic as a backup DC, but rest of them stays at u19 for now What a great season, best place in a league so far and really good performance in cups group stage. With much stronger rivals we managed to get 4 points, with a little bit of luck we could even win this group, but I'm still proud. And it also helped us financialy. 27 goals bu Eddie Nelen is teams new record. Too bad that Swanson and Hultbom spent second half of season with major injuries, if they were healthy maybe we could even push for a place in top 2. "Are you winning son?" Still improving, even though he lost some time on recovery - it surely hurt his bravery and determination

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 13 - 2035 Only some subs in the midfield/wings who need time to improve, I'd love to see some decent DC and backup goalie or striker A little stagnation, we're not ready yet to get a promotion. Good thing is we advanced in cup to a group stage, which hopefuly give us some money boost as we're getting close to 100k in red and it makes everything harder. "Are you winning son?" A significant rise of physical and mental attributes, he may be even the fastest progressing player in club

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 12 - 2034 Similar intakes through last years, this time Holger Hultbom should be usefull, maybe even Edin Catic or Veljko Cosic. Good season, looks like we've established our position as a mid-table team. A lot of minor injuries so some of key players missed few games and we still don't have much quality in subs "Are you winning son?" Definetely progressing, more and more attributes rising, but on-field performance stilll a little dissapointing

February 2036 Very good month, only one loss vs Man City which is not a surprise but we're still in FA Cup, there was a rematch with extra time but we got it, next round - Sunderland so very lucky draw

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 11 - 2033 Nothing interesting this time. Most of them have 4+* potential but to be honest with our poor training facilities I'd rather have only 1 or 2 higher CA youngster who could immediately raise starting lineup qualilty than whole bunch of high potential players who will never reach it Best season so far, most time we were in the upper half of table, even few points away from promotion playoffs at some point but we are not consistent with our form. Nevertheless I'm really happy, we are slowly improving. We need better performing defenders, I think that's the main reason of losing streaks. New part of these updates titled "are you winning son?" A lot of playing time does the job, we see some attributes rising, mostly physical.

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 10 - 2032 Not great, not terrible , but first time getting a son in intake is a huge moment. I think he'll be a new starting DR even though he's only 3rd best in rotation Lower half of table was holding really close the whole season and until the last game we weren't sure if we'll stay in Div1. We won playoffs again so lot of emotions and a little cash bonus. And if we talk about money, a nice feature in Swedish cup where bigger club can pay you to host a game for better match income. In 2nd round we were facing IFK Goteborg and thanks to that we could afford upgrading youth facilities.

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - 2032 I think this deserves it's own post. 2032 intake came in and I have a son now and he looks like a decent prospect for my team

January 2036 I'm back for a moment with this save to finish current season. 4 points added to our account so no reason to worry, that's the bare minimum we need to do. We're doing pretty good against Blackburn so FA Cup is not over yet for us, next round vs West Ham. The 1-5 beating in league doesn't look promising

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 9 - 2031 This time no one ready for a bigger role, best player is left winger but I already have that position covered so they will stay at u19 team Good season, safe place, youngsters are providing nice effort. My best player was last years intake Eddie Nelen with 17 goals. We need better income sources as we're losing money and the board won't accept any upgrades due to financial situation and I could really use some better training facilities

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 8 - 2030 Nice intake with a star caliber midfielder and some 2*CA whom I intend to use in starting lineup fairly often. We still have problem with personalities of top prospects but I can't get any better HoYD, not many to choose from and they're balanced at most. We stay in Division 1 but it wasn't an easy battle. Bad stretch of games in may/june got us in very uncomfortable position. We had to fight in relegation playoffs - first game went really well but we almost messed up a rematch, fortunately we could hold on the lead and we even got nice money for that win. There's no prizes for higher places but they give you 43k just for that playoff, weird but I won't complain.

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 7 - 2029 I want more intakes like this one. 4 or maybe 5 of them going straight into first team rotation, two solid defenders good enough to be starters Went better than expected. First half of the season gave us a safe distance from relegation and even a horrible second half didn't get us down. Finally I see some improvements in attributes for the youngsters who play regularly. Finances don't look great so I'm keeping wages very low, we spend 80k for youth setup but it's necessary, our main source of income is fund raising (about half of total income).

One of the best saves I've ever had, still unfinished, I've put it on hold now but definetely feel l'm going to do few more seasons at some point. Good luck

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 6 - 2028 With that kind of preview I was hoping for more and what I got is worse than last year (when best rating was only a C) Promotion! It's a great news but on the other hand I have some doubts it can be a little too early and we will be at the dead end like last time. Especially because we're losing 3 key players and current intake didn't bring worthy replacements. Zeki Dağlı made a strong debut being our top scorer by a mile and Williot Hägerholm shows a nice progress but that's pretty much all, rest of our prospects need to do more. At the end I have a question for those who played in Sweden. It's my second promotion from 4th tier and it happened again. After last game or intake I can offer my players only non-contracts. Every other season it worked normal, I could choose between part-time, youth and non-contract but after winning promotion it's suddenly not an option. Is this some kind of a bug? Would be a shame getting 5*CA academy wonderkid and lose him for nothing to a bigger club because of that

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 5 - 2027 Not so great preview but actual intake looks decent. There are new starting DL and ST, shame they're both unambitious Very close situation in table. We were trying to at least reach playoffs but july hit us in the face. Abdoulie Jabang scored 23 goals - that was a really nice way to say goodbye. Bad news is we are going to lose another 3 good players for the same reason - they will be free agents in a year - James Dahlberg, Hugo Anderberg and Neo Lind. It's time for my HoYD to work some magic and find replacements. We also debuted in Swedish Cup, lost in 2nd round but earned some cash thanks to that. Right at the begining of the season I asked for upgrades. I think this is where I'll stop until we get promoted to 2nd tier. We're losing money due to higher youth setup costs and we can't afford more now. I hope that quality of youngsters will be good enough to slowly build a team.

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 4 - 2026 Finally some A in preview which turned out to be a quite nice prospect, a professional. We also got 1* goalie, maybe this one will stay between post for more than one season First games made me think "we can do it, we can aim for a lower mid table spot" but after game vs Motala AIF all went really bad. Two horrible winless streaks and we slowly fell into relegation zone and couldn't climb up. I even changed tactic to more defensive with 2 DM's and 1 ST but it didn't help at all. We're going down back to 4th tier. Some people were not happy about that. The board almost fired me, they gave me last chance so the save continues. On top of that Jesper Kallman and Abdoulie Jabang said they won't sign new contracts and they will leave on free transfer. They both have 1 year left and selling them would earn me zero money so it's better to keep them in squad.

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 3 - 2025 Not very useful in first squad, but maybe I can put one or two of them on the field sometimes. Rest will get their chance in U19's team This year we got promoted, other teams lost so much points that we were able to claim the title. Core of my first 11 is still made mostly of legacy players and it won't change soon as youngsters are not developing Great results made the board agree to my request and we got first upgrades, hoping for a better intakes in next years

[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 2 - 2024 Same as previous season. Devin Weidersjo should be getting some starts and the rest probably just bench warmers Another 3rd place. Youngsters giving depth definetely helps. Good thing is the schedule without mid-week games so no problems with fitness. I need good GK as Sambola is old and declared he's leaving after contract expires, that's why 2,5 grey star Ostlin was my first choice.
