  1. October 29th: Leicester (a) EFL Cup 4th Rd The first half was all my side and on the 12th minute we took the lead as L.Guglielmi jinked through the defence and fired with pace under the keeper. Six minutes later we added another goal with O.Scherbakov headed in a K.Jardine cross. Straight from kick off we intercepted the ball and D.Leonardi added a third goal with a wonderful strike from outside the area.. Leicester didn't learn from their error as we did exactly the same with K.Jardine doing the honours from close range. It was getting too easy and on the 23rd minute J.Manuel Fratini brought down O.Scherbakov to earn himself a straight red card. With ten minutes remaining in the half we added goal number five with K.Jardine grabbing his second of the game with a curling effort from outside the area. The second half ended up being more of a training game with very little action in the attacking areas of the pitch, however on the 77th minute it was Leicester who scored the single goal in the half with S.Stepanovic slotting in from ten yards past M.Joosten Leicester 1-5 Man Utd S.Stepanovic 77 / L.Guglielmi 12, O.Scherbakov 18, D.Leonardi 19, K.Jardine 20, 35 M.Joosten, L.King, A.De Russis, J.Smith, P.Lane, A.Xhepa, L.Guglielmi (M.Khumalo), D.Leonardi, M.Vandamme (A.Grossi), K.Jardine, O.Scherbakov (J.Ashmeade) October 31st: The draw for the EFL Cup ¼ Final sees us facing a home tie against Premier Division side Chelsea The end of the month sees us top of the table after nine games on 22pts some 4pts clear of second placed Man City
  2. Dalbeider, I'll still be around annoying everyone with my Man Utd and England stories. Appreciate the kind words mate anyway.
  3. October 26th: Tottenham (a) (9/38) Six minutes into the game Tottenham grabbed the lead with B.King heading in from a corner which M.Joosten flapped at. It took till the 29th minute for us to have our first effort with A.Xhepa rattling the upright from the corner of the area. With seven minutes remaining in the half D.Leonardi gave us the equaliser after running onto a K.Jardine through-ball. The second half started well for us as just before the D.Leonardi headed in a K.Jardine cross to give us the lead. On the 74th minute we had yet another chance this time the Spurs keeper managed to block a K.Jardine effort. With a minute remaining in the game Spurs levelled the scores after a poor clearance by J.Smith saw A.Lombardo firing back in under M.Joosten. However the scoring didn't end their as on the stroke of full time Tottenham's C.Farmer diverted a low K.Jardine cross past the Spurs keeper to give us three points Tottenham 2-3 Man Utd B.King 6, A.Lombardo 89 / D.Leonardi 38, 58, C.Farmer 90 og M.Joosten, L.King, A.De Russis, J.Smith, P.Lane, A.Xhepa, L.Guglielmi, D.Leonardi, M.Vandamme, K.Jardine, O.Scherbakov (A.Grossi)
  4. Cheers for the kind words, much appreciated. Got plenty of stories in the pipeline
  5. Hi Guys Just a quick message to say that with the end of the season comes the end of something else. I have decided that my time as a Moderator has come to an end and I have messgaed Neil Brock to be removed from the Mods list with immediate effect. Its been nearly seven years since I was made a Mod and have enjoyed my time and would like to thank you all for making it the easiest job I have done. Obviously we still have Neilhoskins and Tenthreeleader as our current Mods and it will down to them who if anyone will be taking over from me. As a result of me leaving the role I will also be stepping down from doing the Predictions League (but in truth thats pretty much dying a death with only three regular predictors), the Fantasy Football League and more importantly the Awards process. Again thankyou all for making it an easy job Mark

  12. Week 38 The final week and none of us managed to end the season with a double figured score. The Performance of the Week goes to Bagpuss who scored 8pts for the Week. The Dunce of the Week is being shared with the top two salkster2102 and Mark Lawrenson both scoring 6pts. The title this year has been won by a Scouser unlike in the premier Division as our very own salkster2102 beat Lawro to the top spot by 4pts with a total of 168 correct results and 36 correct scores. This is salkster2102's second title win after winning the first incarnation back in the 2009/2010 season. Well done sir
  13. June 2033: June 23rd: It wasn't a hard decision to accept the United job and in truth if anyone else had come in for me I would've stayed with Celtic, but United is my dream job. I have not a bad squad in truth, however I do have a few aging players which I will be looking to offload at some point. The squad is as follows: Goalkeepers: Josh Brennan (ENG 28), Scott Ryder (ENG 28) Defenders: Lee King (ENG 25), Ricardo Chacon (MEX 31), Uche Akilu (ENG 29), Agustin Almiron (ARG 32), Mario Morales (URU 31), Kim Chul-Ho (KOR 27) Midfielders: Gerard Smits (NED 31), Manu Prieto (ESP 29), Rusian Zuev (RUS 28), Antonio Marin (ESP 27), Da Silva (BRA 30), Jair Gonzalez (COL 31), Ivan de Paula (BRA 30), Joakim Johansson (SWE 28), Paul Parkinson (ENG 26), Domenico Leonardi (ITA 24), Kyle Jardine (SCO 28), Assane Kone (FRA 31) Attackers: Andrea Pinamonti (ITA 34), Cemal Yildrim (FRA 30), Nelson Tataje (PER 29), Alessandro Grossi (ITA 21) The board have stated what they expect of me for the forthcoming season and they expect to reach the Semi Finals of the Champions Cup, to win the Premier Division, to reach the final of the FA Cup and in truth their not bothered about the EFL Cup. I have been given £120,000,000 transfer budget to help achieve their targets June 29th: My first match in charge was a friendly against Chon Heng and we destroyed them 14-0 with M.Morales, A.Grossi, K.Jardin and P.Parkinson scoring one. A.Kone grabbed a hat-trick so did C.Yildrim. The other goals were scored by A.Almiron, R.Zuev, N.Tateje and an own goal by A.Iog Weng
