On Graphics : Most don't want FIFA level Graphics. Just want upgrade of FM17 and prior Version Graphical Detail. Some thing already existed in the game 6 years ago

I have in one Save in 21 or 22 can't remember exactly that i have to sign High reputation players, Spend Entire budget , Sign only 23 or under players. I've never cared about any of that and they keep saying how devastated they are whilst how i was constantly destroying my league and be a consistent Semi finalist in CL. Also did any one ever get A+ for a Sale made by player? I've never seen it. I sold quite many players in many FM's yet i don't remember Board ever given A+ even for 100M + Sales.
I think the Problem with these expectations we don't follow and it won't change much but AI Manager strictly follow them making the squad building tough. I agree with Frazt the Objectives need to be fine tuned and some of them need to be removed like Sign High reputation players and Spend the Budget. doubt any club will say that to a DOF spend your entire budget and sign high rep players every season.

In real life you think of an attacking team chasing a game are going to be more direct & players won't dally about with the clock ticking, they get the ball forward asap by any means. A defensive team, defending a 1-0 lead, clinging onto the game would slow everything down & play safe which fits with FM. But if an attacking team is starting out, they'll be more patient in deeper areas & look to break through faster in attacking areas & defensive teams looking to make inroads from deep
I think at one point, lower mentalities had deeper players pass more direct with the passing shortening as you went up the field and vice versa, attacking teams would pass short in deep areas of the pitch & more direct as they moved the ball into attack
I believe now, playing on a Cautious mentality & maxing out the passing directness would bring the team passing up to the same as Balanced & reducing the Attacking mentality's passing right down would be level with Balanced too. It's why I'd rework the mentalities but it's a whole different topic really & a really difficult one
Yes. It's where the whole problem stems. We players can fine-tune the settings but the question is can ai do the same.This is where it starts to get tricky for devs.
As much fun the game is , it has become complex more and more so fine tuning is getting harder and it might require a big rework soon.
But I believe a rework helps alot or even removal of global mentalities particularly now we have role and duty mentalities so maintaining them and adjusting them might be simpler.

Well I think it will be in final stages so doubt it can drastically change before beta release. But I wish it will be addressed before March patch which is likely the final patch of this version.

I know. This is one of the reasons I feel holding the ME back to be more expansive. The game pushes towards defensive mentalities the moment player / ai team picks up form.
Which is why I hope devs find some way to get more counters in this version.

Why is that passing is on high accuracy levels.
Well the answer is obvious if you see how the ai plays it's game.
A team who wants to defend goes to very defensive /defensive mentality and it makes ai to play safe passes. Then add the mentality ladder of the defensive mentality which causes the players to choose safe passes even more
If they constantly take safe passes when they will take long passes which is what they need to counter. This is one of the reason where ai keeps the ball at back so effectively as the back line and probably dm ahead of them have so many touches and so many successful passes in previous versions.
If we talk Chelsea in fm terms they sit deep but they don't play defensive mentality at all. They play more like positive to create faster transitions to catch them out of position.
If ai plays counter or defensive on higher mentalities the game would open up alot and we can truly see how the ME plays out. Right now they sit deep but with little to no movement to create transitions due to mentality ladder. With little counter movement the pressing team just has the chance to press them even more probably causing it to be more op. If they go for counter This would also reduce the ge gen press or extreme pressing as the chances would force players to track back and go defend more which drains their stamina even more.
I trust devs to find a way to make the ai game to counter more. Hopefully they will find it in this version.

Tried it , It didn't worked.
What worked is removing the Launch option completely. I left it empty and then the in game prefereneces recognized the Location.
I don't know why it was altered in first place though.

I fired up Fm 21 since last update today and my user -data location got defaulted and no matter what i do i can't change it
My Launch option is same as the Location i gave here. Its empty in location path so i choose my folder here and set the location and quit the game as told in user - data location changes guide
After the Reboot as you can see the Folder location gives Empty as it was before.
Now hot to fix it can any one help me?

So 108 passes less and yet the team has only 4% less possession? When this will change?

Will the Posession calculation be fixed for final patch atleast? I don't think its realistic with current chess clock system where a team making 15 -20 passes in 30 sec time frame where as other team make only 6 or 7 passes in the similar time frame but had more posession just because they had the ball at their feet.

This i feel is big problem in terms of squad building hurdle for AI as teams are forced to sign high reputation players not taking how a squad can be complete. Majorly high reputation players are forwards/ Midfielders so this was creating a bit of issue with teams buying players they don't need and ending up losses.
Also in real life i don't think there is a club who can ask to sign high reputation players every season. where as in game clubs like PSG , Barca, City, Real , United and probably few more constantly asking this philosophy.

If i train a DM who i want him to learn a bit of defensive side in defensive Unit with no Positional Training only his defensive Attributes will be targeted and vice versa if i put in Attacking Unit. Is that it @Experienced Defender

I was trying to be a bit more aggressive and tried a No CB type version recently. My Problem is
This is a normal 4-3-3 with Wing backs pushed to DM strata The Off side trap is where our CB's who is our last players in the Half.
But when i tried to push my CB's into DM strata
I have no problem with having more balls behind me but why is the Off side trap doesnt adjust to where my last person in my half is but stays where Suppossed CB strata is?
Shouldnt its called as offside if the player is beyond the last person in my half why its giving extra advantage ?

Will SI change how the Posession is calculated in this FM to reflect how its calculated like in real life i.e OPTA where its no.of passes than time on the ball ?

I don't exactly know what happened here but
1. I played a Friendly against Austria Wein and it shows 3-0
There are 2 issues i found
1. In this match i scored 2 goals not 3. Almada second goal at 59th min is shown up on stats but it never happened.
2. When i tried to watch this match in View match from Main Menu. I got a different result altogether
