  1. Hello. What are the steps for adding a league that's already in the game but it's not playable? I want to add the Romanian Third League. I got to a point where I can choose it on the screen where you add/remove leagues when you start a new savegame, but after I choose my manager profile the game doesn't let me pick a team from the third league. It's my first time needing to use the editor for something and I am lost.

They're useful to give players match time who aren't currently getting into your 1st team. Also good for out of form players or players just back from injury to get some confidence back at a lower level. I love them & use them all season

But they don't play in any competition. The B team doesn't have ANY scheduled matches. So what's their point? I can schedule a friendly at any time to raise fitness levels.

Did you guys completely forget to optimize match engine's GPU usage? Because I'm not playing the game again until GPU usage is fixed.

I've got a 5700XT and in way more intensive GPU games I won't approach anywhere near 80% usage.

In FM23 though, it's instant and permanent 90%+ as soon as the match starts, even when highlights are not being shown.

Tried several driver versions, despite everything working perfectly in other games, tried with default and custom performance settings.

On maxed out settings, which are obviously recommended, it's just burning the GPU for no reason at maximum load.

Even if I put everything down to low and use 60fps, which is ridiculous, considering I've got a high refersh rate monitor, it's still going to be at ~50% usage, just awful. When I'm playing other games with low GPU requirements, but still way more than FM's ME, I can have it at max settings, 250+ fps constant, while running two 1080p streams in the background as a test and still not go above 50%.

No, it's not my system. Every possible test and game has reasonable usage. Even when I use 2D classic on high settings it's permanently above 80% usage.

As soon as I'm out of the match, it's back down to sub 10%.

It wasn't a thing when the beta was just released, so something must've changed in that hotfix. So I thought it's going to be fine when the full game is out, but apparently it's not.

    Maybe they are mining bitcoin.

Stop believing all these people that make money on promoting FM...:herman:

The ME and the 3D Engine are the same for at least 3 years, with minor tweaks every year

There is nothing "WOW" factor about FM23 mate, stop believing everything BustTheNet is saying :stop:

There are issues since FM20 that are not fixed, it`s the same old story...

There are issues since FM2017 that are not fixed*

    a lot of long pass

The long passes in the ME were intentionally introduced to facilitate Haaland to score 50+ goals a season... Without this flaw in the ME I am 100% sure he wouldn't score so much.

Look at other strikers too. The number of goals are exaggerated. Ronaldo is back to his best form, even better.

While I really am grateful that SI have acknowledged & are working on it. Quite honestly, my point still stands. How was something like this missed by QA testers? It’s something every YouTuber has easily been able to test by simulating forward 100 years for example. Especially as something similar happened last year with similar player development bugs. It’s just a massive shame tbh.

The end-customer is the tester. Every year is the same story. They change the interface a bit, adding more clicks to get the info you want and announce it as a headline feature. You can achieve the same by yourself with a new skin I suppose. Yet people buy the game blindly every year. The only solution to change something is to stop buying the game. They never listen to players. Just take a quick look at the feature requests forum and you'll reach the same conclusion.

  7. The long balls in the ME were intentionally introduced to facilitate Haaland to score 50+ goals a season... Without this flaw in the ME I am 100% sure he wouldn't score so much. Isak scoring 46 proves my theory. Man City are also an official partner this year.

Of course, SI will come out and tell me I'm wrong and the ME is realistic because Haaland is scoring like irl. But look at the other strikers when played in a similar tactic, they are scoring for fun if they have good passers around.

Looking for a long term save and, assuming I'll only get 2 seasons In before the 8th November, the hotfix for player development means there will be a minimal effect on my save I assume?

The point of a beta is to test the game for bugs, not to play it 2 weeks earlier. You preordered to test the game before full release, not to get access to play it before someone else. I don't understand why is it so hard for some of you to understand this. Maybe it's because of some sense of privilege.

I genuinely don't understand how QA on the match engine hasn't identified the issue with long balls and defenders just allowing the ball to go over their heads to strikers uncontested. They literally stand there watching it.

Probably the biggest issue in the game right now, hopefully picked up and fixed for release.

Because each year you pay to test this game, which is a brilliant business for them.

The same issue of bad scaling is very much present in FM2023. The team selection screen, for unknown reason remains capped to a post stamp sized window.

I've raised this for the past 3 years I haven't ever recieved a proper answer why the UI could not scale properly based on resolution here.

You got rings and earrings, why are you complaining? Try raising the issue next year, maybe you'll be lucky then.

Don't view it as purchasing an entirely new game, consider it an annual fee you owe to SI for the existence of such an amazing game. Even if there had been no changes to the game except for updating the databases, the game would still be worth your 35 quid annually

That's why this game is in the state it currently is.
