If we deliver the infos about the missing cities from the teams they will be added or would be a waste of time to report it?

South Korea has its own thread, however, if you were to report any for the Middle East, I’d happily edit them.

The Al-Thumama-Stadion in Qatar which will host World Cup Games.
Has a capacity of 750 instead of 40000

Already been edited in, the capacity was left blank for some reawson so it generated to 750. anyway, it's been changed for the next release.

Yeah, it's a club he founded.

They even played in EL qualifiers.

Too bad their by far the biggest club, Vardar, is in shambles and fell apart. From EL groupstage to second division in 2 years.

I heard talk that FK Skopje was going to save them with a merger like Miravci did a few years ago. Just rumours on Twitter though, so probably nothing more than that.

In other news, Enis Bardhi is out with COVID :(

  4. Just had a glance over the squad list again and two domestic talents that probably should have been called up are Besart Ibraimi who was top goal scorer in the league for Shkendija this season. Sure, he’s in his 30s now but a return of 24 goals in 32 league matches is nothing to sniff at.

Also, I’d personally have went with Tome Kitanovski from Makedonija GjP instead of Risto Jankov. But it’s clear Angelovski favours Rabotnicki players considering that’s where he came from to take over the National Team.

  5. Angelovski has announced his squad for the upcoming Euro 2020/21:

May be an image of text

for those who can't speak or read Macedonian, here it is:

    Goalkeepers

Stole Dimitrievski - Rayo Vallecano, Spain
    Damjan Siskovski - Doxa, Cyprus
    Riste Jankov - Rabotnicki, Macedonia

    Defenders

    Visar Musliu - Fehervar, Hungary
    Egzon Bejtullai - Shkendija, Macedonia
    Kire Ristevski - Ujpest, Hungary
Stefan Ristovski - Dinamo Zagreb, Croatia
    Darko Velkovski - Rijeka, Croatia
    Gjoko Zajkov - Charleroi, Belgium
Ezgjan Alioski - Leeds United, England

    Midfielders

    Enis Bardhi - Levante, Spain
Arijan Ademi - Dinamo Zagreb, Croatia
    Boban Nikolov - Lecce, Italy
Stefan Spirovski - AEK Larnakas, Cyprus
    Elif Elmas - Napoli, Italy
    Tihomir Kostadinov - Ruzomberok, Slovakia
    Daniel Avramovski - Kayserispor, Turkey
Marjan Radeski - Akademija Pandev, Macedonia
    Ferhan Hasani - Partizani, Albania
    Darko Curlinov - Stuttgart, Germany

    Forwards

    Goran Pandev - Genoa, Italy
Ivan Trickovski - AEK Larnakas, Cyprus
Milan Ristovski - Spartak Trnava, Slovakia
    Aleksandar Trajkovski - Mallorca, Spain
Krste Velkovski - FK Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Vlatko Stojanovski - Chambly, France (Loan)

Nice to see some domestic talents in the squad. The team will predictably be relying on Pandev and Elmas to be the ones driving the team forward no doubt.

I'm surprised to see Ferhan Hasani in the squad again, he's hugely unpopular with the Maceodnia fans due to his poor form for the team over the last couple of years but I'll reserve judgement on him until I see his performances at the cup. Also would have been nice to see someone like Ljupce Doriev get a call up as he has been in great form for Renova and Shkendija over the past couple of seasons.

Im not sure if this is the correct place, but where can we speak about the newgens for certain asian countries? Main problem i have is for Kazakh and Kyrgyz players who should both be east asian or mongolian in features. In the game however they are dark brown and look more like indian.  Uzbek also wouldnt be so brown. Is there a way to fix this?

@avtothus could be one for you

Triple posting, I will be accused of bumping soon!

I wanted to get everyone's opinion on something. I will be working on sorting the player file out this weekend, but having looked at it, it will not be a huge job. I think most will be integration of a file @Kanwulf sent (due credit will be given for this, it was a wonderful addition kindly given). And this will be an ongoing thing. I am working my way through Tunisia Ligue 2 currently (slowly, admittedly, I still spend a lot less time with the editor than I used to) hoping to get that league added back in.

This then brings me to leagues. I have always considered that I would update league and players concurrently, so we get a new set of players along with their league. However, when I started this project a lot of the DB in Africa was very messy, so it was the only real way to go about things. I remember retiring a huge number of 38+ year olds when I started, for example. However it is delightful to see how much progress has been made on the database in Africa (credit entirely to the researchers who have made it happen, those I know and those I do not).

This opens a new possibility. To add leagues without an in depth look at the player files. There are some nations where research is already at a level far beyond what I could do, and very few of the bigger nations seem to be severely lacking in content. So the possibility would be to try to expand the leagues I provide in my file to encompass, for example, the top 15 - 25 African nations. This would provide much more depth, and I think would benefit the experience in general. I do always feel even with the leagues I have activated doing a save in Africa can feel a little claustrophobic. I think this could add some real vibrancy. Of course I would be aiming for as much realism as possible (although this year is a total mess for working out what proper league structures are and what they will be in the future). My goal would be to make an Africa only save not only feasible but enjoyable and replayable.

So what does everything think? Where do we want to take this mod next? I make this mod for fun, but it is you guys who reap most of the benefits, so I'm more than happy to see what the consensus is here.

I say you should go for more nations like you propose

  8. Hi, this has happaned a few times to me now:

I just went to merge my unsaved changes with my Transfer Editor Data File and the maths doesn't work out at all. The file has ~11K changes, and the unsaved changes was about 250 changes.... But somehow after merging, the file now has 23,356 changes? Why is this happening?

  9. Regarding the rest of the players that are missing, any missing players will be created in the next research phase ready for FM22. It's not ideal, but a lot of work has been done to improve the Middle East from the outdated DB it was beforehand. At the moment, it's a matter of playing catchup so when the transfer patch eventually comes out then I hope you will notice a big improvement in KSA and UAE in particular. But yeah, the players I ave missed will be done in time for the next installment.

There is a bug with Saudi Arabian clubs. Three clubs from 1st tier league should be assigned to 2nd tier league and vice-versa. Same happens with 2nd and 3rd tier teams. I know you don't offer the Saudi Arabian leagues as playable leagues, but even without the leagues playable teams are assigned wrongly. Same with Qatar, Al-Shahaniya Sports Club should be swapped with Al-Kharitiyath Sports Club, and 2 clubs are missing in 2nd tier - Lusail City Football Club and Al-Waab.

Saudi Arabia has been fixed for the winter patch. The Qatari ones completely escaped my mind but it’s a simple fix in the editor. If you’re not clued up on how to use the editor I’ll provide you with a fmf file that will fix if.
