  1. I don't know how many players that will be, you just have to check as I have never loaded all those leagues at once. But these are leagues that should see you able to complete this challenge. I only recommend bottom leagues in England and France as you can get a job there (I started at Bristol Rovers in Conference League, and my brother even got started at Carlisle in League Two., there is a guy in the forum here that started at a French club so that is possible also), but you might get only offers from lower reputation countries with this setup. Would be nice to hear from you what kind of clubs that offer you a position within the first 6 months or so.

    Good luck!!!

  2. Hey im after a league setup 80000-100000 players that woild allow me to do this challenge without having to load any new leagues or take leagues out?

    Hello LeedsUnited.

I have never tried that many players (usually around 40000-45000 my self) , but I would suggest something like:

    England (Down to Tier 5)

    France (Down to Tier 4)

    Spain (Down to Tier 2)

    Germany (Down to Tier 2)

    Italy (Down to Tier 3)

+ 3-5 other European Leagues of your choice (I would certainly put Portugal as one and Holland as one of them)

    Brazil (Down to Tier 2)

    Argentina (Down to Tier 2)

    + maybe 1 more S.American country

    USA (MLS only)

    Mexico (Down to Tier 2)

South Africa (Down to Tier 2)

South Korea (Down to Tier 2)

    China (Superleague only)

    Australia (A-League only)

Here you have 13+ countries and you need to win "only" 10 of them. Then if there is room for more players, I would add players from nations that might get you involved in International Management. I would definitely start with the African Nations then like Ghana, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Cameroon.

  3. Hello!

Just thought I would leave a message here. After finishing the challenge (finally) I lost a bit motivation for this Challenge. Just to say though I have loved it so much. I feel I need to read this thread at least 2-4 times a day to check on your guys progress.

I have decided to not play so much and at least not this Challenge for a while, but I might come back with a vengance with FM16 later. For now I have started my own challenge, that you can find as: The Earl ultimate Ultimate Football Manager Challenge. It has a lot of similarities to the one I thought I would challenge my self to try here, but also some differences. Feel free to check it out, its not meant to take people away from this one and it is possible to cross-play, though I would not suggest it as it will hamper your progress here.

I will definately keep reading this thread (probably still everyday), and I will try to make some more in depth comments to each and one of you, but for now it will not be more updates on my savegames here for quite some time.

Good luck to all of you!!!

  4. So we have a new common thread for FM15 and FM16 hmmm. OK Lets give it a go!

My name is The Earl and I was the first manager to complete this challenge in FM15 (Full version). Currently I have started another try in FM15 with even heavier rules. I might give FM16 a go soon, but not yet. Please read my last couple of updates from the old thread:

Sorry but I am not going to post more stats from my game today anyway. I decided to jump into another "project" and will shortly post more updates from that instead.

What did I decide to do? Well I am not going to play FM16 straight away, so I am doing The Earls ultimate Ultimate FM Challenge.

What is this you may ask?

Well here are the "rules that I set for myself.

    - Start an entirely new career on FM15. Full version. Start out as 20 year old with 1 nationality, 1 language, no coaching badges, Sunday League experience. (My nationality is French in this game by the way, born in Paris).

    - I can´t win the same competitions as in my previous game, with some exceptions, but at least never win them with the same team(s).

    - I have to win top division in England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy. But to do this I will have to manage a team that in-game is in Tier 2 (or lower) and take them to the top-flight and win the league with that team. If I get sacked or move clubs, I will have to find a new team in Tier 2 and start over again. (Or move to another country for a while). Just as a note: In my previous game A.Madrid went down to Tier 2, so they would have qualified as long as I took charge while they are in Tier 2.

    - Cup wins in those 5 countries doesn't count with the exception of French FA Cup and DFB Pokal in Germany, as I never won those on my old savegame. It will still have to be with a team that I bring up from Tier 2 though.

    - South Africa: I have to manage a team there as its the only country manageable in Africa. But I will not count league or cup wins in S.Africa, just African Champions League, and it can't be with Kaizer Chiefs.

    - I can never manage any team at all in: Brazil, Mexico, Scotland, Portugal, Holland, South Korea.

    - I can manage a club in Greece, but I can't count cup win there, as I have already won the Greek Cup.

    - As for national management, I can't win World Cup with either France or Paraguay. I can't win Copa America with Brazil, I can't win Asia Cup with South Korea, I can't win Euro Nations with Italy nor Confederations Cup, and I can't win African Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast or Gold Cup with Mexico.

This should make one amazing challenge, that I am not sure if I can do, but it will test my skills to the limit. Especially it will be interesting to see how I can win UEFA Champions League as I can never manage any of the big clubs in Europe, unless they suffer a relegation to Tier 2 domestically first.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chris Earl III stepped nervously into the boardroom of Francisco Artés Carrasco Stadum, Lorca, Murcia, Spain. Just 20 years old he was given an interview as manager of La Hoya.

Would he get the job? And what could this unproven manager accomplish if he got the job?

    Stay tuned for more info...

  5. This is what I would like as well but theoretically it should actually be very easy to put together. You just need to merge a legendary player database with a World League database that somebody else has already put together. The key thing is that the player database must only have changes to players and mustn't have any changes to the clubs. I tried this with another legends database but failed because the clubs had been fiddled with.

I'm really keen on this idea because it would make a really tough challenge. Once you win the Champions League with a small club it's difficult to get enthusiastic about a new save.

In any case I think you're doing fantastic work here.

I would love to have this as well. I have planned to do something like this for long time, but never found time/motivation to complete it. On FM15 I was starting on something like this, but problem is I use MAC and the the visual graphics in the editor is hopeless with the rendering. So I hope this will be better for FM 16, and I might give it a go.
