  1. The fringe player status thing is pretty easy to get around, though very tedious. Simply negotiate the wages and squad status you want. On the third round of negotiations, the loaning club will (almost always) agree to Regular Starter status, and the % of wages paid will be increased. If the club don't agree to 100% of wages paid on the third negotiation, they will accept it on the fourth round of negotiation. It's been raised as a bug, and almost definitely is a bug, but if you take the time to negotiate each bid individually, you will eventually get most teams to agree to the terms you originally asked for. Pain in the neck though.
  2. Once again, AI teams are getting better transfer terms than player controlled teams. Every year this happens and every year you say it doesn't happen. Screenshots clearly showing AI teams will demand higher loan fees for player controlled teams than AI controlled teams. The same happens with player contract negotiations, I offer better terms, player rejects me for a worse contract. Rangers and Celtic. Almost identical reputation. Same league, same league reputation. Rangers are league champions. Rangers are in the Champions League, Celtic are in the Europa League. And yet, teams and players accept lower terms for the Europa League team. Happens every year. You deny that it happens every year.
  3. Caicedo is on a 7 year contract, PSG bid (less than half what I paid for him) and he wants to leave, 18 months into his contract. Honestly, you think is realistic? I have to make multiple bids and talk about the transfer to the press, and half the time it doesn't unsettle the player. But the AI can unsettle my players at will. Even if I manage to unsettle the player, the AI won't sell for double his valuation, whereas my players will never accept anything over 10-15% of their valuation. And if that player happens to play in the same league, or is a rival of some kind, then the asking price doubles again, but not if the AI is buying, no no, then the price they expect to pay stays the same. I also have numerous other players wanting to leave because they're not playing enough, including a 19 year old Arda Guler. Some of these players, Sterling, Mudryk, Badiashile, have spoken to the press demanding to leave. Show me the real life interviews where players act like this. I have no idea how you cannot see this is beyond stupid, year after year after year. Even the fact the PSG would attempt to buy Caicedo at this stage of his contract is hilariously stupid.
  4. Well, no. This is the new Champions League format. UEFA haven't announced much of anything related to the new format. So if you're going to make things up, you should probably apply currently existing prize money structures to UEFA competition.
  5. Teams who finish in the top 8 of the group stage receive no financial reward for doing so. Meanwhile teams who finish 9th-24th enter the Play Off Round and are awarded £8m for their appearance in the round. Seems very unrealistic that UEFA wouldn't award prize money to the best performing teams.
  6. Malang Sarr is transfer listed for £13m. I (Rangers) offer £13m and start contract negotiations. Celtic bid £0+ and those terms are accepted. He (of course) rejects me, despite offering a higher wage and a more important squad status, not to mention we are champions, and in the Champions League. I investigate the terms of the transfer Chelsea agreed to sell to Celtic and they agreed to sell for 20% next sale. That's it. No money. In order for Chelsea to make more money from Celtic's terms, they are relying on Celtic selling him on for over £65m.
  7. Auxerre have 2 American affiliate teams, both providing the transfer of under 18s. Which is illegal. A player can train at a club for a (very) short period, but they cannot transfer to that team. I'm guessing since he was born in Texas, he will have transferred from Texas Rush. Edit: He has lived in France for 915 days, or 2.5 years. Which ties up pretty well to Newgen day in France 2.5 years ago (current date 21 September 2025 minus 915 days = 21st March 2023). If his family moved to France for non football reasons, he'd have been living in France for longer than 915 days.
  8. Jaime Cortes (17 year old American with no EU nationality yet playing for Auxerre in France, funny how the AI can break rules the player can't) wants to leave due to team getting relegated. Jaime Cortes wants to continue his development...at relegated club... Uploaded file Chelsea Jaime Cortes Transfer.
  9. Also, the game seems to have no problem actually breaking these laws. Here's some screenshots showing Non-EU newgens under the age of 17 playing at EU clubs. All of these players (presumably) transferred to these clubs "under the hood" of Academy football, which is illegal, unless they have an EU passport, which a lot of these players don't have, ie no Second Nationality.
  10. No, the reason is because it's not illegal to arrange a transfer to take effect on, or soon after, a players 18th birthday. I suspect Real Madrid and their lawyers know the rules a lot better than anyone at SI.
  11. Here's what those guidelines state. "Since 2001, the Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP) have prohibited the international transfer of a minor (a player under the age of 18), with limited exceptions." Prohibited the international transfer. Nothing about "discussing international transfers". Only the actual transfer. Which is how FM has been for years. Players still discuss transfers with teams across international borders. Legally. If "discussing" is illegal, why are Real Madrid about to pre-sign Endrick?
  12. Yan Couto, Kayky, Gabriel Jesus at Man City. Metinho at Troyes. Amad Diallo at Atalanta. Christian Pulisic, Gio Reyna at Dortmund. Marcelo Pitaluga at Liverpool. Abdoulaye Kamara at PSG. Matias Soule at Juventus. Franco Carboni at Catania. Facunda Colidio and Franco Vezzoni at Inter. Hugo Cuenca at AC Milan. Ah yes, very rare. Also, don't know why how long ago those transfers were is important. Because according to SI, none of those transfers would happen in this years game. THAT'S the point.
  13. Federico Valverde, Vinicious Junior, Rodrygo and Reinieir (and now it seems Endrick) all agreed to join Real Madrid before they turned 18. I found this information out in 10 minutes, and only looked at ONE major European team. Imagine how many examples I could find if I could be bothered. Also, SI's research team apparently were unaware that VAR was going to introduced in Scotland during this season, then had the cheek to sarcastically tell us to ask the SFA to announce these things before the season starts, even though the announcement was made 6 months prior to the launch the FM23. So you'll forgive me for not trusting SI's research team to research anything outside of England.
  14. The players listed there, excluding Vitor Roque, are all rejects from big leagues. Most of them have never played more than half a seasons worth of games. A couple of them not even big leagues, like Ahmedhodzic and Lucca. Ahmedhodzic is a particularly bad example because he demanded a 400% salary bump to join me. And I have raised these issues in the Transfers section. I was told this was perfectly normal, real world behaviour. My ~£35m Vitor Roque will only agree to a transfer value of £40m, conveniently achievable for anyone interested in signing him. Meanwhile Rafael Leao is still at Milan 5 years in because they won't sell him for anything less than £200m, a price tag he seems very happy with, which no player I manage would ever agree to, no matter what club I'm managing.
  15. 10 players asking to leave. And of course, I can get nowhere near the AI's insane valuation for players. At best I can, maybe, get them to agree for ~£5m over their value, while AI teams demand at least double what the player is actually worth, which their players agree with.
  16. I've been playing FM for 20 years. I know how it works. It gets worse every year.
  17. Maybe, maybe not. But SI have him down as a £300m player, so my point stands. Player values and demands are artificially inflated.
  18. Define "much lower". When I negotiated their contracts I was hit with an IMMEDIATE last chance offer of £50kp/w. Even my DoF couldn't get them to agree to a reasonable wage. Your idea of player demands is hilarious. Rafael Leao, according to SI, is a £200m player. Meanwhile in the real world, no player in the world would cost that much, not even Mbappe.
  19. Trying to sign a new centre back, bids accepted for Odilon Kossounou and Anel Ahmedhodzic. Both players want insane wages, Ahmedhodzic in particular wants a 500% wage increase from his current contract. Kossounou's agent indicated only a modest pay rise, then demanded almost 300% increase.
  20. Marc Cucurella picked up his 10th yellow card of the season in the 36th game of the season, and incurred a 2 match suspension, despite the 8th, 9th and 10th yellow cards coming after the 32nd match amnesty.
  21. They did, here's an article from April stating the VAR will be introduced during this season, albeit originally planned for after the World Cup. https://spfl.co.uk/news/var-approved-by-spfl-clubs
  22. 4 seasons in and the first Old Firm game of every season is at Celtic Park. The SPFL very deliberately alternate the venue of the first Old Firm game every year between Rangers and Celtic to avoid accusations of bias.
  23. Sepp Van Den Berg gets a transfer offer from Real Madrid, I negotiate it to £20m up front, £20m 12 months later. He wants me to accept the offer, it's a great deal, so I accept. He rejects the contract on the same day, and is now unhappy because he wants to join Real Madrid as they are a bigger club. Replicated this a second time, except I got £25m upfront and £20m in 12 months time. Offer comes in on Friday 29th Aug. Uploaded the file Rangers Transfer Bug
  24. Yeah, signed Bulgarian, Romanian, Ivorian and Turkish regens in my most recent transfer window, they all got work permits on appeal. Seems they've put the old work permit rules back in.
